4a where?

I don't see a 4a here much at all. Just because she's got frizzy-looking roots does not put her into a 4 category?

She looks straight up 3C to me at the minimum. Unless these shots of her curls have been blown up...

Hair type: the back and sides have small spiraly curls, the top and front just wave like, "hi! how ya doin?"

Condish: ElucenceMBC, HEHH, my kitchen mixes

Moisturizer: mixed spritz of: H20, aloe vera juice, honey, EVCO, ElucenceMBC

Curl Definer: H20 & a shake, my moisturizer mix.... or aloe vera/flax seed/ic fantsia gel if I'm not being lazy.

Styles: wash-n-go, twists just curl up like my wash-n-go

Thank u ladies. Yeah my hair strands are thick or course but my curl pattern are sharpie size. And the very back is very fine and loose. I just can't get rid of my frizzy hair. I guess cuz I have a twa. We will see as it grows Muahz

4a is a range just like the rest of the hair categories, not just one set curl pattern.

Either way, you look 3c/4a.

Hey girl. You clearly have a very beautiful and defined silky hair pattern that where curl starts from root I say I see 3b and some 3c but if you are saying your curls are sharpie size then it would make them 3b you are your best to say what your hair type is, pictures can be deceiving, you see it each day in person . Hair type is curl size not pattern, shine ...so on an so forth.
