If I wanted to post something controversial, like how I didn't understand the love people have for certain bloggers and Youtube posters and named them, I'd probably create a fake name.
Because I know some people are UNtouchable.

Agreed! The ending was probably the happiest of the saddest endings that he could have written. I loved all of the philosophy stuff about life, death, and the afterlife. I loved all the math references. The characters were well written (albeit overly dramatic in some cases) and very I felt like he got the complex emotions of each person exactly right. I liked how no one was a "Mary Sue" character, everyone had perfections and faults.
The ending was wonderful. I think I reread it like 3 times.
I think I liked it so much because I went into it with the knowledge of what it was: a book with overly intelligent, overly witty, overly dramatic teenagers. Yes, I'd have plenty of criticisms if those qualities are taken into account. But the story, wit, and message triumphed all that in my opinion and I can forgive and forget everything mentioned above for that reason. All of the aspects that were "overly" intense allowed the author to be complex and deep which made me think and I liked that most of all.
You?

Wow... She looks kinda psycho killer in that picture. Well, that must have been a slap in the face to Rihanna.... No pun intended.

like seriously, of all pictures...he chose that one? I mean maybe he thought if it all goes south then it won't matter, because you can't really identify her face.

I actually don't think anyone really cares on here, lol.
But I was referring to all these hair typing threads and questions of tomfoolery - I SWEAR people make fake names just because they know people aren't tryin' to hear all that mess.

Lmao I guess the girl was trying to be sexy or mysterious but uh huh she does look a lot like that pic. What if they got married that's how you want to present your wife? As a crazed axe murderer? Chris doesn't strike me ( damn these puns) as someone who has a whole lotta sense but damn.

does anyone know if morrocan oil brand oil treatment is a heat protectant?? Ive been googling this stupid thing for hours for the past two days and cant find a yes or no. I got an awesome deal on the huge bottle and have always wanted to try it but would NEVER spend that much, but it was only 20 for the big one! Now I dont know how to use it though..It says to put on damp hair prior to blow drying but....it doesnt say it protects from heat but it also doesnt say it doesnt since they dont say add a heat protectant. no blog, no review, no vid has said yes or no. i even emailed them but no reply yet. so if anyone knows please chime in! thanks

Wow I didn't know tika sumpter was natural. Pretty hair too.
I was think about this today, is it wrong that I'm jealous of girls that have always been natural? I mean I always wanted to be natural. As I kid I would kick and scream so bad my mom's boyfriend had to hold me down on perm day. When I was 8 I saw the craft and rachel true's hair and wanted that. When I told mom she explained that it wasn't possible because of the perms. That I hated. And fought every step of the way. Up until that point I didn't know what a perm was suppose to do. When I found out I was devastated, and actually told my mother I hated her. And then I got knocked into next week...but anyway I'm rambling. I always feel a bit jealous when a natural talks about how they were never relaxed, or the care their mother would take with their hair. My mom ment well, but she honestly believed baby oil was a good moisturizer. I started thinking about this on the bus coming home from work. There were a group of teenagers coming home from school. One of the girls looked to be about 13 and had what looked to be a 4a/b WnG down to her butt, held back by a cute little head band. I felt so jealous, at that age I would have sold my soul to satan for butt length natural hair. Today I would probably sacrafice my leg to the one titted albino ethiopian (yeah I stole it) to have bra strap length natural hair. And that ain't even that long! I just feel like it's messed up that I have to covet something like long natural hair, I feel like I should have it. Be use to it. And not even think about it. I'm seriously fighting the urge to call my mom in the hospital and go "you robbed me!"

I'm late, as usual, and this may have already been said. But Halle has Type I. Really both are fatal
Skinny people have diabetes too. Actually type I is very prevalent in caucasians. Type II gets a lot of press now because it is often linked to lifestyle habits and minorities eating diets that their bodies are not familiar with and the "Western"/USA diet.
There was an article in last month's Shape or Women's Health about "skinny-fat" people (their words, not mine). The subject of the article was a "physically fit" Asian woman (type ii diabetes is really prevalent in Asian people).
Just wanted to add that in Type I your pancreas is defective from birth. It burns out rather early with seemingly no "wrongdoing" on your part. With type II your pancreas burns out a little later but still early (because honestly your pancreas, if not defective, should last your lifetime) from "wrongdoing", usually slowly. Wrongdoing would be poor diet and/or lack of exercise. It used to be "adult onset diabetes" because the typical afflicted person was middle aged. Nowadays they just say type II because 12 year olds are popping up with it.
Belly fat is believed to be very bad if you're trying to not get diabetes.

I've been natural all my life and my hair isn't butt length. *shrug* when you factor in: hair cuts, shrinkage, and plain ole genetics (everyone's not going to grow Disney Princess hair no matter how long they're natural)...there's no guarantee that your hair would be a certain length today if you'd been natural all your life.
The jealousy is pointless.

It's the little things that remind me that 45ish years ago people had to sit at the back of the bus, use separate water fountains, entrances & exits, watch a movie on a different side of a theater, were hosed down, fire bombed, attacked by dogs, lynched...
When people say, "I can't believe people are still racist, it's 2012." I don't think they realize how fresh it really is. This stuff affected my mom's generation. That's only the generation before mine. Crazy when look at it that way. A lot of people still have a lot of unfortunate issues.
