Today was one of those 'trying' days, as I call it. You know those days where life really tests you? The day where you do as much as you can to do things right, but everything is going wrong because all the stress builds up and then blows out. You go home and you cry and it feels so good because it is like stress toxin leaving the body. That was the kind of day it was for me. It is just nice to write it down...somewhere.
I dont know what you mean by allowed to participate but Im glad you got that off your chest.

I don't even know if the ppl that I was talking to on this site are still here! Lol.

But anyway. We "broke up" for like 3 months and decided to work things out. I think he is understanding me a little more and vice versa.

How can I say goodbye P.L.G.
That is wonderful. I love happy endings.

Great news! Were you able to get your police record cleaned? Maybe next year you can try for China again.

Everything ended up working out good and I have to see if I can put my South Korea app in hold since I had passed both rounds and had just been waiting in my contract.

Hi So

How are things with you?
I'm okay. I've managed to find work for the summer and now I'm saving for both an apartment/studio and university. I'm worried about getting the renewal of my residency permit because of my money situation, but I hope it works out.

*RANT*
Getting information for importing my pug into Taiwan once I get settled there....MY GOD!!! This is absolutely fustrating. If my dog has always had a clean bill of health including from rabies which seems to be the thing Taiwan is most concerned about, why must I jump through 1,000 hoops?? First get her an updated rabies vaccine then wait 180 DAYS, then apply for permit, then reserve her spot 30 days in advance, them make sure she has a test proving that she does not have rabies at only 2 places in America that they approve to do the test, then take her to quarantine and wait 21 days until I can pick her up and pay the fee for the quarantine-not to mention the cost of shipping her to me through air. Even more stress I have one parent that may or may not go out of the country and she won't say but will keep my dog but I don't know for how long and then I have another set of parents that are kinda saying no. Then none of my friends can watch her even if I'm willing to pay. *sigh* My face====>

Ok, so I know there are deep seated issues in this family, issues that I'm not even going to start to pretend to understand, but you do not rule this house. I love your independence and I love your free will, but frankly your attitude when it comes to other people and their differing outlooks on life, stinks. We're going to be sisters-in-law at some point in the not-too-distant future, and maybe at some point in the future I'll get up the nerve to have this talk in person.
I don't profess to understand how sibling relationships work (being an only child myself) but it frustrates me beyond reason when you get on your high horse and talk down to your brother, my boyfriend...especially when he's trying to be reasonable and open up to you. The times we spend together aren't always bad, we can be close and I love those moments, I'd consider you my own sister in a heartbeat...but if that's going to continue you need to learn a little bit of humility - the world does not bend to your will.
You're not perfect, and it's high time you stopped speaking to other people like you are.

I was at a flea market in Georgia earlier today. As soon as I walk in I see some of those cheesy tshirt stands selling trayvon shirts and hoodies with slogans. I was immediately pissed. No these people aren't trying to make a buck off of that mother's dead child. And you can't tell me they are donating a damn dime to charity or the family. They're just out capitalize. And not only is this immoral but I'm reasonably sure it's illegal. I know from my media law class that it is illegal to use someone's image or likeness to make a profit without their approval. I'm not 100 percent sure how this applies to people who are deceased but I know Elvis and MLK's family have copyrighted their likenesses and are very protective of how they are used. I started a transaction with another vendor and while we were talking I told him how I felt and he said he was disgusted too but unfortunately there was nothing the mother could do about it. I now regret now going up to those vendors and telling them what I thought. Please do not support these rachet people.

It's 2013 and you are publicly proclaiming a fear of afros on a website focused on all sorts of hair from various ethnic groups, including people who naturally have afro (African) hair .

That kind of audacity, and the fact that the seemingly adult posters above didn't point that out to a child OP is both bizarre and sad

Natural Doll ... LOL ... If I were less annoyed, maybe I could practice some self-restraint and not say another word about it. Instead I'll just admit I'm responding to a thread in the teen forum
