I am in love with fishtail braids. I googled how to tutorials today. All this time I thought it was braiding under instead of over, no wonder my hair never looked like fishtails. Lol

Well he is actin so weird that I told him never mind and just talk I me when he is ready about whatever is going on. In my mind there really is another girl and he feels guilty but he shouldn't because we never said anything that would jeopardize a new relationship with someone else like that he like me or wants to be with me.

I have a 50 minute presentation tomorrow and I am very nervous. I keep practicing, but I am worried I will forget what I have to say. I cannot wait until it's done, it will be a great relief.

My advice is don't overpractice exactly what words you are going to say but, spend more time making sure you're comfortable with your general subject matter. If you memorize it and you miss one word it will throw you off and you'll likely forget the rest. Happened to me. I like to create an outline of points I want to make. I discuss each point and when I'm ready to move to the next point I look down quickly at my notecard or whatever and it jogs my memory to move on to the next point I want to make and I continue talking. It keeps me from rambling on or getting too off track. And it means I make a lot more eye contact with the audience. I don't like listening to people who hardly ever look up. It makes me feel like they are oblivious to me and it doesn't matter I'm in the room.

Just relax and maybe if you are able to, go to the actual venue and get on the stage to see what it feels like OR use a stage closer to home.

For those of us who actually come from multigenerationally mixed race families, it is easy to tell who is mixed with what.

People are crazy. I can't believe that lady felt her behavior was ok to tell your co-worker.

I am bored, tired and hungry. I am waiting at the mechanic to do some repairs so I can get a Texas registration so that I can get a driver's license. I spent a couple of hours fighting with my windshield wipers in the cold rain.
