I always see people talking about this show on the Internet. Maybe I will try to catch it. What day does it come on? I never watched Breaking Bad either and people seem to love that.
I'm not sure why I bought an expensive a tv because I only turn it on maybe once or twice a week for football. I subscribe to Netflix but I can't remember the last time I watched anything on it. I'm going to cancel in January.

Scandal comes on ABC on Thursdays at 9 pm. I love this show! I watch it on Fridays online since I don't have basic cable now. This week's episode messed with my head. I liked the ending. I could have done without the liv and fitz scene. I really think he has lost his mind.

@adthomas - I'm the same way too; I don't watch much tv. I kept hearing about Scandal but never paid any attention to it. Then I had some really slow days at my old job and basically did a marathon online on a bunch of back episodes - been hooked ever since.

And I'm definitely the same way about Breaking Bad. Friends would always look at my crazy b/c I've never seen the show.

@mcc - So much is packed into each week; I always feel like having a Florida Evans moment after every episode, ESPECIALLY this week. Not just Fitz, but EVERYBODY up in that show has some issues!

Short hair is liberating. I do not miss the length at all.

Looking at your profile you did have really long hair. Beautiful but I couldn't handle growng that much hair. The longer mine gets the more massive it gets it gets. Took me forever to figure out how to wear a hat on it. I don't intend to ever go past bsl stretched.

I saw the pic of your cut. It looks awesome.

Thanks There comes a time when you break some kind of barrier and become a hair ball with a human attached Conversations start to revolve around your hair (for better or worse) and not you.

Yeah it was a lot to deal with and I'm relieved to have it gone. At it's longest, it was longer than those older pics I have in my album - was TBL (dry, not stretched). Just the sheer amount of it was ... ugh ... not for the faint of heart

Kinda wish I'd cut it a while back.

.
I have never mentioned this on the forum but sometimes I feel overshadowed by my hair. I was just thinking the other day sometimes people can seem more interested in talking about how much my hair I have than talking to me the person.. But I thought I was the only one who felt this so I thought it was weird. Not that I don't I enjoy my hair. It is hard to explain I guess. I would like to cut and when I mention it people think I'm crazy. I'm sure it is partly because I'm a poc. But I can't do a big cut because I still have a patch of alopecia in the nape I need to cover with length.

Can't believe you just plagiarized my post from one thread and fed it to someone in another thread as your advice!

Seriously? Couldn't you have made it a little less obvious so as not to insult my intelligence? I mean I like to be kissed when I get f***ed.

Gosh.

Gosh.
I guess I'll have to figure out what this is all about. Sorry that happened to you.

It is cold outside. I am trying to adjust. I am really not cut out for this.

This is a rant. I answered a post about why you shouldn't mix different chemical processes into one, such as a relaxer and texturizer. I have no problem with someone wanting to change her natural pattern, but please don't be ignorant about it. She keeps asking the same silly question in different ways. Some relaxers have lye, some have ammonium thioglycolate. These are not meant to be mixed. And then when you add the chemicals from the texturizer. All I see is hair falling out or an explosion. Rant over.

Just mailed out a Mother's Day card for my mom. It was really thoughtful of me considering I just realized it's actually her birthday

I did lol when I saw her reply and then saw Korkscrew and your responses. I really hope it is a troll, otherwise someone has horrible reading comprehension. Lol

It is the thought that counts and mothers usually find a way to get you to make up for it. Or at least mine does.

Yeah, my mom's not Jewish but she's a pro at the whole guilt thing.

Hey gals, well I called mom to confess and yeah, she seems okey-dokey with my asinine blunder (phew).

AdT LOL, yeah, my mom either does the non-Jewish guilt thing or the Jewish guilt thing, just not today. She was super-sweet and gracious, as in it's the thought that counts, baby ... I say it's either of those because, even though my dad is definitely Jewish, it's still unclear whether or not my mom is Jewish, but we have our suspicions. Especially since I have such a high % of Ashkenazi ancestry according to my matrilineal 23andme test results (turns out to be the largest % of my ancestry, and they categorize Ashkenazi separately, even though it's considered a subset of "European"). ... One of my bros wants to take the test too to find out more about what we inherited from our father's side to round out the picture (meh ... more German more this and that Euro whatevs). It could reveal an increased % of Ashk. ancestry (or not) though. Something tells me that number will stay about the same. I still think a lot of that showed itself already in my results.
