I want a pb&j.

Sigh. I hate when isht gets real. Life is so much more pleasant when I'm living in a virtual bubble filled with glitter and cupcakes and kaleidoscopes.

Why is someone else always trucking up my dream world with mess and salt and ugly mfers?

LIAR! You're lurking just like me because that thread got locked and we are drama bloodhounds!
LOL!! I would totally be jumping in here right after the lock, but I have shamed the name of the drama bloodhound and gotten to the party way late. I haven't even gotten to the race baiting yet, and I found out about the lock right when I came in here! I legitimately went and ran to another forum just to post about an owl GIF, but that doesn't mean I closed my drama tab.

Does liking a person's post actually help them have a better day. Something to ponder.... I guess I need to get on curltalk through my browser so I can like posts more often and see who may have liked mine.

The notification system for the 'likes' is the worst ever. I just let them accumulate and then go in to "delete" them in bulk. That is why I am always late to the pm's, cuz it's all under one system. So in short, it really doesn't matter to me, but if it did, I would have no way of really knowing who liked what, unless I see them in the thread.

Radiohead, "High and Dry."

No they did not put this in right when he finds out he has cancer. That is depressing as hell.

Why must he be so adorable?

I totally get a little happy boost from seeing people liked my posts! It's tiny, but it's nice. Since kind words from posters here have helped me turn bad days around, I can totally see it making someone's day if they felt truly awful and then saw that someone liked something they said.

I have to admit that I AM PISSED that all they did is lock that thread and proceed on like everything is normal. So it is fine and dandy to call people B..s for no reason, get racial for no reason, and falsely slander someone by making accusations that could get them in real trouble with their professional organization???? And yet somehow this is going to be spun as being MY fault?

It's not just you. But what should we expect from ninja dog? She's been doing that mess since she became a member pretty much. All I can do is sit by and smdh. They're obviously her issues, not yours.

Now I'm going to have to follow up everything I post with "Well, it's probably because I'm black and got to where I am through affirmative action and lying on loan applications. You know how we do."

SMDH! Jesus, Mary, AND Joseph.

my likes accumulate too quickly. i wouldn't mind if i could see where the likes are coming from, but the way it is now just annoys me. i cleared over 1500 likes the other day, and i'm nearly at 100 already. i guess i'm flattered that y'all like my posts so much lol.

i get a pop up whenever i get a private message. like as soon as i open/refresh a page on nc, i get a pop up saying i have a message.

I was just saying to my husband that I really, really like Radiohead... and I am not normally into that kind of music at all.

I like looking at my likes. I don't know wth likes anything I write, but I haven't deleted them yet. I also don't delete emails because I use gmail, and even though I've amassed a few thousand emails over the years, I've only used up 15%.

In real life I throw everything away.

You may want to sit down. Aren't you in med school? You know it's probably because you lied on your loans and it's because of affirmative action right? Entitlements abound, apparently.

Seriously, there's some kind of bizarre ******** rant in that thread. Big bad negros stanking up the joint, apparently.

I'm watching the movie 50/50. There's a part in the film where the protagonist finds out he has cancer, and High and Dry plays.

It's a good song, and they put it in the perfect place.
