It's funny how people wanna say some ish to you when your hair is short then when it's long it's like the men wanna f you and the women wanna cut your hair while you're sleep and sew it into their scalps.

***** this is the same **** I had on my head one year ago when you told me I looked like a boy. Get the f outta here.

A lot of pent up anger today.

Black mass exodus? Listen, I hope no one is even trying that mess, cause we're beyond advanced to run from anyone or thing.

Lemme hush before I say what I really wanna say...
I know it's happened on here before and not that long ago (around 2005-2006ish). I used to post under another user name and for some reason I couldn't get the pass word reset so I had to start using this current user name. Anywho...that whole "troll prevention" ish ended up really being "any of you negros step outta line and post some ish that someone takes outta context and your ass is grass". I'm talking some really offensive and straight up KKK rally type ish was allowed to stay up and if a black poster half way tried to speak up about it and "offended" a veteran poster they were repremanded by the mods. It got CRAY for a while.

The only thing that MIGHT keep that from happening now is that NC.com is about that paper...and the only color of concern is green. Back then it was just a hobby that Gretchen and Michelle started....now..a multimillion dollar company. I seriously doubt they about to let anyone chase off the negros because we're the ones they're making all that money off of.
I remember that. I hadn't found the non hair side at that point. The fight spilled over into hair, and that's what got me started in visiting non hair.

I do hope that there isn't a mass exodus because one loony bird had her quarterly 'everyone hates me/I'm such a victim' meltdown.

I've made several savory dishes following recipes on this site and they were all very good. I did not care for 2 of the 3 desserts I tried though.

It's a good site for those using the weight watchers point system.

ETA: @cheveuxbouclés we were typing about this at the same time...lol.

I just went to the site to see what was up and I am giving some SERIOUS side eye a the Jamaican Brown Stew Chicken. Girl, that ain't no damn stew chicken looking all light-skinned and stuff...

Lord. Please don't bring the drama back. I have *ahem* someone on block, but I hate to see this mess blow up again.

I just laughed out loud to that even though I shouldn't have. I am a skeptic until given proof...

See that's the thing that these trolls that come with racially provocative behavior don't understand. I've always been black. Trust me, you're not the first person to drop the "n" bomb, or to not even realize that what you said is racist. So the sh*t is not new. The fact that they try to get a rise out of people over the internet, of all places, is redic. Like my world is somehow going to be shattered cause you say some crap about black people. Ummmm, all you're saying is "I'm a p.o.s who is really out of touch with reality and thinks I'm more important than I really am". Please go have multiple seats with that b.s

Noooooo!!!!!!! Not good, you need to eat well rounded meals, hun. If there were a finger wagging smilie, I'd use it. Even though skettie os were my joint.....Those pizzas aren't that big anyway. Plus if you had some veggies on there you covered all the food groups.....just sayin...it's better that not eating.

lol! I only said spaghetti Os and spinach because that's all I have in my house until I can go grocery shopping on Friday.

and the pizza had no veggies...no meat...and I dipped each slice in honey mustard hahaha!! I ate sooo terrible today! I'm drinking some relaxation tea to calm my stomach and my nerves so I can eat healthier.

I wonder if I am the only one who eats poorly when stressed or depressed.

I would actually try to overeat like them to fit in and hear my mom complain about wasting her money at the buffet. Now Im older and have gained my family still comments about it so didnt really change anything. I have commented on a person's weight butonly when I havent seen them in awhile and see they have a drastic difference. Do you think it is bad to say to someone "i see you've gained/lost weight"?
I think its better to play it safe and not mention it at all. I say that because you can unintentionally insult someone. I have definitely felt awkward when someone mentioned something about my appearance out of the blue.

I usually only mention a change in appearance if I know someone was trying to make a change. For example, a friend of mine has been trying to lose weight for awhile so when I saw her recently I noticed she lost quite a bit of weight so I commented. Other than that I keep my thoughts to myself.
Yep to the last sentence. There is a thin line btwn fat n pregnant.... Lol !
+1 I made that mistake a few times saying "i didnt know u were expecting". Ohh ur not pregnant. Oopd. Also made the "wow your daugher is lovely". Ooh that's your wife. And the "your grandbaby is so sweet" ooh that is your child. I have developed a taste for foot.

I don't either... ESPECIALLY when it's by someone I'm not into, it makes me feel uncomfortable. "Sexy" isn't the look I usually try going for... I prefer cute, pretty, beautiful or something in regards to my personality. Sexy to me insinuates more of a behavior which I'm not usually sporting.

Same here! My friend used to say she HATED being called sexy...but now she calls herself sexy?? sooo idk.

I was wondering when someone was gonna click that link in the sidebar ad. Nothing on that site that I looked at was under $25. Hmph.
