UGH sooo pissed!! Okay, I don't know if she did a really sh*tty job flat ironing my hair or if I just don't like my hair straight. But I think she just did a really sh*tty job! and she used all these silicone, mineral oil filled products! ugh! NOT HAPPY!! My hair is soooo greasy!!! I can't wait to wash my hair!!!

@Naturalista.. yeah I tried oil cleansing but it seemed to break me out more... but that was years ago and to be honest I think I did it wrong because the way I've read it's supposed to be done.. err.. I don't remember doing it that way. LOL!

So, I'm trying a braid out (a la Elle's most recent tutorial) and I am not feeling super confident about it.

I have a bad feeling it'll turn out like my twist outs: helmet-y. I still want to stretch it because I want to straighten my hair Sunday or Monday.

And I'm feeling bummed about my hair--I don't feel like it's growing.

I'm getting tired of ponypuffs but my hair looks beyond ridiculous otherwise.

On a better note: I'm pretty sure Future Mr. Annab is into me. He said he was looking for me at the "Interrupters" screening last Sunday, but we missed each other. And we totes engaged in pre-class discussion about the film. So he basically proposed, right?

We'll have lovely children.

Is a moisture base the problem? Bc a good base (or LI conditioner) makes moisturizing in between easy, or unnecessary. The better LI for winter is the dew since it's glycerin free. The HH is better when the dews are higher.

Yes I heard it's great for us oilies, but have you tried oil rinsing? Im trying it now and in the few days Ive been on it, my skin isn't as much of an oil slick, AND it's great at getting makeup off and cleansing in one go.

After reading NCC's comment and someone else who talked about concealer and mineral foundation being enough, I decided to do ny concealer with bare minerals and I have to say THIS ROCKS! The same coverage as my cream foundation, but more classic and clean of a look. I dunno how else to describe it. This is me today and I'm loving it!

Now why didn't I know minerals helped the complexion? It wasn't doing much for me before...

For those if you who have oily skin, have you tried using organic ACV as an astringent/toner? I have been using Bragg's ACV for the past 5 days as an experiment and it is working. Very little oil and my skin is so soft! Even my dark spots are clearing up!

I have tried ACV some time ago but I don't remember if it helped or not. I used to drink a tablespoon in water when I was doing liver detox and it was ok.
