Thanks! I make bows for my girls. I've made them tutus and shamrock hair clips for St. Patrick's Day.
Blame it on the cell phone...

Congrats on the weight loss! I would love to lose 8-15 lbs. I've been sitting around wishing the lbs away and that hasn't worked thus far. I'll be 30 at the end of the year and I just want to feel beautiful at some point again. Hopefully losing a bit of weight will help.

Some Girl Scouts jacked my purse, took $4, gave me a box of Thin Mints, and ran off. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I SOOOOOOO need you to stop mentioning this - I am 100% bitter that the new products are nowhere near me and they won't get their dang website together so I can try the new stuff LOL!
OK, carry on y'all.

Basketball Wives moment....I can't stand when black women just up and ask an obviously black woman who they think is mixed "Are you white?". That *ish irks the hell out of me. Kesha is obviously black (and now she's revealed that she's biracial) and Tamy did not know her well enough to ask that without it sounding offensive.
I can't stand Tamy's messy self.

Grammar Girl : Yo as a Pronoun :: Quick and Dirty Tips ™
this is interesting. i wish it would catch on, bc i really hate when professors quibble over subject-pronoun agreement when they KNOW there's no gender neutral pronoun. "he or she/ him or her" sounds hella awkward, "they/ them" flows a lot better. i actually argued w my professor over that yesterday. it's one thing to deduct points for blatant disregard for/ ignorance of standard grammar rules, but there is no real standard for this particular issue; it's been debated for like, ever. imma keep using they b/c it just flows the best to me.
(he also deducted points for not citing outside sources in an IN CLASS essay. the essay question said that extra credit would be given if you cited outside sources, it didn't say it was required. if you want a research paper, ask for that. in class essay are usually just for demonstrating the fact that you know and thoroughly understand the material, not that you've done in depth research about it. furthermore, he hasn't really even been discussing things that can be easily researched and cited. he's mostly been talking about his experiences in the field. only one teeny part of the question had anything to do w/ the textbook, and even then you could still answer it w/o the book. we're finally getting into the meat and potatoes of the class, so hopefully the next 3 tests will be better)
although, using "yo" in that context made me think of them referring to a creature named Yo for some reason lol. but still, it's a start. imma use it in my next paper, just to annoy the professor.
