The New & Improved Say It I Dare You

It's very relevant IMO. A lot of people in this country (USA) do not think "white person" when they hear the term "Hispanic". If they can say he's "Hispanic" (think Rosie Perez, Zoe Saldana, George Lopez..folks that are Hispanic but don't look "white").. it can take the "sting" out of it some.. they can easily say it's not really a "hate crime" per se since they are both minorities.

It will be down played. That seems rather nuts because clearly being a minority doesn't mean this didn't have anything to do with racism or prejudice but this is OFTEN the hand that certain (not all) white folks play in these situations and I hate to say this but minorities often just accept it. It's being stated all over ..how this guy is Hispanic and not white so there is no real hate crime involved.

Furthermore, his father (Robert Zimmerman) knew what was up from the get go..this is why he was QUICK to point out that his son is "Hispanic and grew up in a MULTICULTURAL home". If his being whatever he is wasn't any issue..there would have been no need to break their (the police and his dad) necks to make it seem like it wasn't any racial issue going on at all.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful, racist, or prejudice but these white folks aren't about to pull the wool over my eyes on this one..sorry Charlie.

Just like this bull:
‚€˜Don‚€™t Re-Nig,‚€™ the racist anti-Obama bumper sticker, appears real | The Sideshow - Yahoo! News

I hear white folks claiming it's not what black people think it is.. it just means not to re-nig on the idea of taking the country back during the 2012 election is all..that it is not calling Obama the "n-word"...um yeah okay. Certain folks wanna believe that go head on..but I know better. And I can give TONS of examples just like that where certain white folks use trickery and word-play to fool folks..and plenty of folks just accept it.

Well it doesn't boggle my mind..and here's why. A lot of older blacks are conservative in nature and I find it has a lot to do with the black church. The values and morals that are learned in the black church are bible based. So they do usually align with Conservative rather than Liberal stances. They (black Republicans) are very conservative on issues of traditional values and social conservatism. They are usually pretty damn patrotic too. They are also very big on being fiscally conservative.

So a lot of them have just been raised a certain way with certain traditional values and held on to them. So they are often anti-abortion, anti same-sex marriage, marriage and family (with a nuclear black family) oriented, very loyal to their country, and want a small government that doesn't get to overly involved. etc. And well being Liberal doesn't exactly fit with that..also a lot of black churches today still hang on to that and align themselves with the Republican Party for those reasons. Not to mention..Lincoln, a Republican is touted with "freeing the slaves". Given there is a lot of history with that ..that people seem to forget. I was actually appauled that Obama swore in on the Lincoln bible..but then I started thinking about just how poignant that really was..and Obama's not stupid.. I think he knew EXACTLY what he was doing..and got the last laugh.

Now this new age of black Republicans that has come about is what chaps my ass. A lot of them act real "I've overcome my blackness and I don't have time for you negros" attitude. First ones, to try to throw other black people under the bus and putting black issues on the back burner.. basically with the attitude of.. "I've come up..with no help by pulling up my boot straps (which is BS)..so why can't you negro ?". And I can't effin stand it. They have this very elite and haughty pretention about them that sickens me. They SWEAR they are "in like flynn" with these certain white Republicans..until the get a damn wake up call like Michael Steele's dumb ass did when Rush gut punched him and showed him who was REALLY in charge. And all I could think was.. "See this moron won't even learn from that.." and sure enough he didn't.. went to kissing Limbaugh's and other Republican tail. I was disgusted.

People like Condi Rice and Colin Powell..a lot of folks called them sell out but didn't get their background and WHY they are Republicans. And it's not because they are sell outs...at all. They were raised a certain way. They are old school black Republicans. Suckers like Michael Steele..he's new age. And I don't mean this having to do with age either he and Condi are in the same age bracket.. I mean adoption of ideologies and how they came to them..is what makes them very different black Republicans.
