Recounting her conversation with Martin, the teen girl said, "He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on. He said he lost the man."

"I asked Trayvon to run, and he said he was going to walk fast. I told him to run but he said he was not going to run," she said.

After a few minutes, the girl said, Martin thought he was safe. But eventually the man appeared again.

"Trayvon said, 'What are you following me for?'" the girl said. "And the man said, 'What are you doing here?' Next thing I hear is somebody pushing, and somebody pushed Trayvon because the [phone’s\] headset just fell."

The line went dead, the girl said.

"I called him again and he didn't answer the phone," she said.

I worry about this Trayvon Martin case. My SO's brother killed my SO with his bare hands by strangling him to death and the judge/DA ruled that there wasn't enough evidence to charge him with a crime--and this was between two white men. I can't do it with our justice system. My heart goes out to his family.

Blame it on the cell phone...

The more I read about this case, the more infuriated I get. I have three nephews around the same age as Trayvon. I'm also frightened because I know very well that this could've happened to any one of them as well. There's plenty of people that will consider them suspect because of their skin color and I'm enraged that these kinds of incidents keep happening over and over and our victims hardly ever get the justice they deserve. I've always had a low opinion of the criminal justice system but with this case, given the fact that the police didn't even bother doing the basics, my opinion of them right now is nonexistent.

Do you ladies really believe Zimmerman is actually a real psychopath ? Or do you just mean the guy was being a reckless racist idiot ? I know sometimes when people say someone is acting psycho they really don't mean the clinical definition.

I still say Zimmerman isn't a psycho..he's just a damn racist with a vigilante attitude about keeping "those that don't belong" out of his neighborhood that went to damn far this time! But I darn sure get your sentiment Chev.. he is a darn wanna be..breaking his darn NECK to solve crimes that weren't even committed. I don't know why he's out there pretending he's Matt Houston or Columbo. If you want to be neighborhood watch captain..fine, great..excellent. But don't pretend you are law enforcement walking around with a gun just LOOKING for trouble. Now what if the tables had been turned and the young boy got the better of him and blew him away instead ?

Some way..some how I bet those Sanford, Florida officers would have found reason enough to take this boy down town..even if he would have told them about it being self defense.

The first statement in this article says: "The psychopath is a predator". One other thing that stands out in this article is the section on "No empathy, remorse, or guilt".

Psychopaths are incapable of feeling guilt or remorse for anything they’ve done because they can’t empathize with others. They tend to view guilt as a liability or weakness in other people, and feel that they are superior because they don’t experience it and can therefore be as ruthless as they like.
Interviewed after committing horrible crimes, many psychopaths insist that their victims deserved it or even that they did their victims a favour. They rationalize, justify or deny any wrongdoing, while perceiving themselves as victims of an unfair society.
It was recently pointed out in a convo I had earlier today that his girlfriend had a restraining order out against him.

So yeah, when I said I felt like he was hunting negros, I meant that.

On Monday I sat through a circle jerk featuring 17 white people as they lamented about reverse racism, while also stating that racism doesn't exist anymore. The "look at Obama" statements were strong that day.
This was in a class at my university, an university that is "diversified, color blind, and very open socially," said my professor. After finally getting fed up I shortly interjected. (I should note that I'm like Turtles, very socially anxious and quiet, but I had to say something, even though I mumbled, stumbled, and stuttered the entire time.)
Once the token black person spoke the conversation quickly moved on. During and after class I felt sick to my stomach for not going into deeper detail and really saying what I wanted to say. So sick, that I didn't even go to class today because I couldn't be bothered to look at them right now. And there are 6 more weeks in the semester...
I felt satisfaction in not getting into a debate with delusional white folks for 45 minutes because I don't have the gift of gab. At. All. Yet it's quite unfortunate that they actually believe this to be true. It's even more interesting because the professor that stated racism is practically dead also spoke on the Obama birth certificate saga and how "wrong and telling" it was. What changed between then and now?

If any of my classmates are aware of this case, I bet they're taking the stance that "it's not a racial issue, it's just a bad situation all around. But I doubt it was racially motivate..." I kind of hope they do mention it (if they didn't today...) because I'll fight against my dislike of public speaking and give it to them raw.

(end vent...it's been weighing on my mind)

Idk if any of you read the Hunger Games but I'm mad excited about Friday! The only thing that is irritating me is that this one girl is black and all my white coworkers are like REALLY? And I actually had to show them the book. So now my question is did they just assume she was white because the majority of the characters are? But how do you skip the part when it says point blank she has brown eyes AND skin? And then try to make a big deal to me talking bout did you her this character is black. No fing sh*t she's black it says she is. I'd care more if they made her white regardless. Sorry for the rant but this has been irritating me since yesterday
Im so tired of this cast...it just doesnt match my style. I feel so short without my beloved heels.

The next person to comment on how they always thought I was taller or anything related to my height is going to get fcuked up on sight...kids and old church ladies included dammit.

i HATE going to asian nail shops. they're rude as fcuk to me. i used a gift certificate the other day that i had gotten as a christmas present and had a pedicure and my kid got her hands and feet painted. the whole time i was impressed at how non ratchet they were (somebody usually shows their ass as soon as i get there) and how we were actually having a good time. then it was time to pay. my gift certificate was for $40. my bill was $35. cool. she writes me a new gift certificate for $5, fine. things are still good. i reach in my wallet to give a tip--20% would have been $7. i gave her $10. she looks at it and just stares at me. then she goes "is this for me? what about the other girl (the one who painted my daughter's nails)? how much for her?" i just gave you a 28% tip and you want to act funny??? give it back, then you don't have to worry about it anymore.

and maybe i don't understand how things work at nail shops, but they don't have to worry about me for a loooong time.
i haven't caqught up in this thread yet, so idk if this was posted:

911 Calls Flood Dispatch from Witnesses & Zimmerman. FBI Will Investigate Murder Of Trayvon Martin! - YouTube

i noticed that in the 3rd or 4th call, the woman said she saw zimmerman on top of trayvon BEFORE she even called 911... the gun shot happened while she was on the phone.

My sister has to get her wisdom teeth pulled in about an hour and I'm scared for her. I hope everything goes well and that they put her to sleep when they do it.
