What id really like to know is why didn't Cissy come back with Bobbi Kris after the funeral at least for a few days. Its not like Cissy is busy hell, the girl just lost her momma and in the interview she says she was in the house by herself (which we now know isn't totally true since she is "playing house" with the unadopted brother) but as a grandmother don't you come and support your grandchild who just lost her momma?

I also wanna know since Whitney did have cocaine and she used it relatively close to the time she died where is the paper or baggy it was in...wasn't no residue on the counter and no signs of any dope. Pat and her brother gots some explaining to do if Whitney took a hit (or 2) right before getting in the tub...there is some type of paper or baggy...drug dealers don't pour powder cocaine into your hand. Whitney had a drug problem yes but that's evidence tampering if they took the dope out before paramedics could get there. Either way its sad...she could sing her ass off too.

That was the FIRST thing that ran through my mind when I heard the offical cause of death. Because Pat and the brother SWEAR they were lock stp with Whitney right up until she went to take that bath so I'd assume they witnessed that last hit or particiapted in that last hit with her. Either way there is bout to be some smoke in the city.....and I'm pretty sure all these folks that were with her in her final days are going to turn on each other and start pointing fingers real soon.

You don't have to go but you can go by the funeral home and sign the book (that is the easy way out, I do it all the time). As far as your father, I wouldn't bother calling him back but if he persists just let him know unfortuntely we won't be able to make it....keep it nasty nice and no details as to why y'all not coming. At this point y'all grown and while its sad him momma has passed, y'all didn't know her. I say run on by the funeral home and sign the book.

OAN - Why is signing the book so important? My momma always wants me to go sign her name in the book for people she knows.

My momma does this too. That and she'll call me and tell me to send flowers. Why I got to send seperate flowers when you already have sent flowers that say from the ___ family?!?

CocoT...I'd just go on ahead and tell your father exactly why you are not coming. No need to keep beating around the bush and having to go through this everytime someone in his family dies. Let him know that his trifflingness as a man, father, and human being is the reason why you don't know your own grandmother. You refuse to continue to expend the emotional energy to go to a funeral when you are not recieved by family because of his actions. I'm not saying you have to go ALL the way there (the man did just lose his momma) but I wouldn't beat around the bush and him and haw about it either.

I take it that at this point you and your sister have no interest in developing a relationship with your father or any of his family (which is your right) so you might as well call an ace an ace and a spade a spade.

That's what I'm wondering. At first, it was thought that she simply mixed the Xanax and alcohol and then drowned. Where did the coke come from? Not that anyone would be surprised that she did any, but did she do it minutes before she went in that tub? The day before? If she'd done it a day or two before away from the hotel, that would explain why there wouldn't be traces of it in the room, but it would have still been in her system. Now I have to wonder if Pat, her brother or even Bobbi Kris were in denial the whole time, because something about it dosen't jive.

I think Pat and Gary knew what was up with Whitney. Probably Pat more so than Gary. Because Pat was always up underneath Whitney. Hell I knew who Pat was many YEARS ago because she was always with Whit at shows and events. Pat was with Whitney when she was at that club the night before for Kelly Price's thing. Kelly Price said Whit was drinking like a damn fish (not her words mine..cause she tried to clean it up during the interview). Pat was the one that was like.. "Okay it's time to go" when that stuff broke out between Whitney and that wanna be celeb chick that Whit had to tell "Get the eff up out my face". And Whit was acting like that because she was drunk as a damn skunk and had probably took a few hits of the weed and was feeling crunked.

These people kill me with this act they put on after someone dies in these drug situations. Like the hell they didn't know...man please. Pat knew damn well Whit hadn't left the drugs alone. Hell she probably was smoking weed and drinking right with her.. but she just wasn't far into all the stuff Whit got into with the popping pills and snortin' yeyo.

The autopsy showed that Whit was a long time cocaine user. I don't believe Whitney EVER got fully clean. Fully clean means no drinking, smoking, or drugging period. I think there were times when she tried to clean up her act some but was probably still drinking and smoking. And they all knew it. But honestly... what can you do. We all know Whit had a bit of a temper and nobody couldn't tell her nuthing when she got in her way.

I think the ONLY one that didn't know it was Cissy Houston. I bet even Bobbi Kristina knew something...cause she definitely know about drinking, smoking and drugging. I seen the pics.

I'm with you. Cissy herself has stated that she'd known for a long time that Whitney wouldn't live long, which indicates to me that she knew. She may not have wanted to believe that it was that bad, but she knew.

Yes..that's what I mean. I didn't think Miss Cissy knew how deep Whit had gone into those drugs. I think she knew Whit had done some before..oh definitely..but I really think she thought Whit was on a better track.

I think it's just like you said..Miss Cissy probably wanted to believe the best.

well noah had a runny nose and cough the past few days, i thought for sure it was just a cold. we were up all night cause he was up all night crying, i took his temp around 6am 101.1 gave him motrin he finally napped, he wokeand i up took it again, 102.2 called dr...and took him in, they gave him a breathing treatment, i thought it was just congestion, turns out my poor baby has pnuemonia the dr prescribed an antibiotic,and said if his temp gets higher and breathing harder take him to er. his temp has gone up to 102.5 :/ .5 more and were off to the hospital

ty me too,hes only had a temp one other time, hes only been sick sick maybe 2 or 3 times. this is new to me i hate seeing him this sick, he just wants to be held, hes sleeping on me now, i tried puttig a cold damp cloth on his head once we got home, he wasnt having it, he wont let me take his clothes off, he wont drink or eat, not even a popsicle. idk how else to cool him down. hes so hot. my husband said when were sick how we feel hot and cold thats prob how he feels and thats why he doesnt want his clothes off

I would go ahead and take his clothes off and try a tepid bath if your back home. Also be sure to keep him hydrated. I've had quite a lot of experience with a chronically ill child. In fact my son just got over pneumonia. It's so scary when their feverish like that. I hope he feels better really soon!
