I dunno man, I dont see how paying $20 a month to get 5 [to 7] lil ole samples of hair products is better than just buying a full size. Thats $4 a sample, I can get an entire bottle of Trader Joes conditioner for $4! Bye.

I know I should be studying, but I just cannot stop reading all of the racist tweets about the hunger games...Wow... I guess America feels the need to see whites in a position of hopelessness to reaffirm what the Trayvon Martin case invalidated, that we are all treated fairly or unfairly in this country, regardless of color.

Tell me again why Zimmerman hasn't been arrested? Besides the obvious.

Man, I guess. Smh.

+1 to the bold, though it's 3 for me. Missing my no-good ex for no-good reason. Got a new FH with "my ex was crazy, are you?" issues, smh, and the one I'd rather be with is with someone else but still trying to talk to me even though I told him he need to finish his bizness first. Right at this moment though, I'm okay with being alone. It's quieter.

ahem, but I'ma need to be boo'ed up by May...I'll be too busy to just be random dating and whatnot.

wow, you know you're slow, when you don't realize a girl's not white when the book states that her skin color is brown. I know sometimes I accidentally miss something a book, but I'm pretty sure that description was pretty detailed, if I can recall correctly.

white people wear hoodies and eat skittles and drink tea and get shot too......(or so I've heard on fb)

I don't like this "Barney Fife of Mayberry" spin Zimmerman's people are trying to put out there.

Has anybody tried the new Giovanni line 2Chic products? I tried to shampoo and conditioner just now. The shampoo is a bit stripping but I really like the conditioner.

I had a hard day with race today. I cried when I read about the hunger games controversy...I just was shocked that people are that racist to throw slurs at a child. The delusion and hatred was just so apparent. Then I had issues with the sugarcoating of trayvon's image in the media...I know it ultimately should not matter but it's going to make it that much easier to believe that Martin reached for Zimmerman's gun and was going to kill him. And I went to trayvon's Facebook page...seeing our youth like that just upsets me (the posts). I feel like there is no hope for America...I probably won't leave my house for 3 days or so.

I like Brittany Griner's hair and she's a beast on the basketball court. She's like lady Shaq. Reminiscent of Cheryl Miller

I appalled at the comments some people are making about Rue's race. It just saddens me that no matter how I raise my daughter ( to be good, compassionate, fair, intelligent, hardworking), there are some people that will prejudge her as loud-mouthed, dumb, and low-class. It's just sad.

It was especially telling to me when someone posted that they thought Rue was supposed to be an innocent blonde haired blue eyed girl and they that cast "that little black girl" instead. Someone actually (SPOILER .....for those who haven't finished the books) have the nerve to say that Rue's blackness made her death scene less sad for them (I can't remember the exact words, it was a link posted before). Seriously??? Someone on that website said that it reminded them of the book "A time to kill" rape case of a little black girl in which the lawyer asked the jury to picture a little white girl before deciding on a verdict because he believed they would have more compassion for her. Hmmm, exactly what happened here!

Though I am not shocked, I think I was tripped out over the fact that so many of the people were "young". I am talking teens to early 20's. A small... albeit naive... part of me wanted to believe that racism would "soften up" somehow through the generations. I mean these white kids listen to more rap than I ever will. So many of them emulate black culture--- then you see that mess. Like really?

Yep @greenjumper. I was talking to my dad about it and thought the same thing...it doesn't matter where I grew up, my education, my job, my performance....at the end of the day I'm just another black b*itch.

And rue was already my weak spot, so when all those racist comments came out I was just upset. It's like it's impossible for some people to view a positive force (even a little girl) as black. Just disgraceful.
