Fidel Castro asked the Pope, "what does a pope do?"

This tickled me so, Castro's arrogance is unbelievable.

Am I the only one who thinks the comparison is outrageous for a different reason? How about apologizing to the LIVING BREATHING TRAYVON MARTIN? The implication is he is, by virtue of his dress and posture, more deserving of death and derision than other members of society, or is more likely to be an aggressor in a social interaction. That is PREPOSTEROUS RACISM! He is a teenaged boy. We ALL postured and tried to be tough at that age! And none of us deserved or deserve to be on a hit list for that.
i was wondering if anyone else though this.

People should be willing to stand by the things they say. Or they shouldn't say them. If your opinion can't stand in the light of day...maybe it should stay in the dark...in your head?

That's strange... Considering Jamaicans are known for being ridiculously arrogant.

My bff once told me should stop associating w/ ppl from the "lesser islands" I was like chile, bye.

On my EVO. I'm too fancy for proofreading.

This level of "standing out" is what fuels their bravado that I mentioned earlier. Not saying that they actually are "louder" or "more arrogant" than the others, but they feel more justified in being that way because of their history and economic struggles (and that turns ppl off).

It's all very interesting to me because I am not from this region at all lol.

like, if i didn't like someone b/c i thought they were arrogant, i wouldn't act as those they were the dirtiest piece of trash on the planet. thinking that a person is arrogant (imo) would imply that there is SOMETHING commendable about them, so i don't see why i would treat them like gutter trash. doesn't make sense.

Above I stated that their cultures and traditions appear to be in direct opposition to the rest of the region. To the point where it is downright offensive depending on context, especially religiously. Their way of life and existence is like an affront. So they're considered trash because they refuse to fall in line with the other folks and the way that they do things, and they have their own pride about how things went down and don't understand why ppl don't get that. He also said remember that they were colonized (well, attempted anyways) by the French, so they still have a lot of those customs + their own way of doing things and the rest of the region just doesn't understand (and that most French are azzholes anyways lol). And remember how they got rid of the French, too. Brutal massacres, which I guess was considered way too savage a way to handle the situation. I'm really thinking that it's the older generations that had the issues and they just passed the hatred down the line but never explained why and that's why it's not a good enough reason for us nowadays, but there it is...

Think of it as that one illegitimate "special" child everyone wishes wasn't there to remind the family that somebody did some ish they had no bizness doing and now they gotta take care of it. (it's a messed up analogy I know but I hope it conveys the point.)

I'm trying to explain it like he did but I suck at this stuff and it's getting late (well for me) I can call him back tomorrow if this still doesn't make any sense lol.

true story.

Lots of times when people see injustice, that doesn't directly affect (effect? no...affect right? Idgaf anyway I can't even pronounce salmon) they turn a blind eye, I'm not trying to hate, but I'll use my life for example, your'e at a party, and someone makes a joke about mexicans jumping fences, who's going to speak up? The hispanic, the white person, or the black person? ME.. I speak up, I don't care if it's not an insult directly to me, it's not okay and you will get called out. Lots of times people, don't speak up. Like the first aid principle, no one wants to save a life, cause they don't want to get involved...okay let someone die, **** you and have a nice day...but you SHOLE is gonna be nosey on someone Facebook page about who they're pregnant by but you ain't gonna be nosey when there is a brawl going on where someone could get hurt?

**** erribody.

and **** ty on battle of the exes...he's holding emily back, **** him. **** HIM.

That always reminds me of the quote (everyone's probably heard it before):

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

You guys!!!!! I had my baby he is 10 weeks premature but he is in good shape. He is growing fine but because his placenta was separating causing some issues, they said it would be healthier for him to be living outside than inside. He is soooo small but sooo beautiful.

zimmerman isn't going to prison for sh*t. i think they'll arrest and charge him (they have no choice w/ all this media frenzy), the case will take FOREVER (like, longer than usual) to finish, and he'll will be acquitted, or be let go w/ some bullsh*t ass probation and time served.

for one, prisons in florida are already overcrowded, and theyve been letting serious/violent criminals out on parole after ridiculously short stays, or being REALLY generous w/ probation and alternative sentencing. so even if this was all handled correctly, he prob still wouldn't have seen much jail time.

secondly, clearly they dont give a f*ck about this case, and theyre only entertaining all of this to appease the masses. theyre gonna drag this all out as long as possible, until ppl start forgetting about it, or slowly turning on trayvon and his family.

call me jaded.

that said, i will continue to support the cause in any way i can, and show up to ay rally/meeting i can make it to. just in case.
