Well, she wasn't the brightest bulb in the box. She got pretty pissy about Zimmerman's race. Seemed to push her over the edge.

I was just going to post this on Non-hair. What did Mary J think Burger King was going to do with her song about their new crispy chicken wrap?

That said, I could not stop laughing.

That and taking The Lord's name in vain.
Woman hardly ever made a lick of sense.

And really, it is so over the top and melodramatic to go deleting your posts from threads because according to you people don't respect or allow you to have an opinion.

Why do people request to have their accounts deleted? Is NC like crack? Log off the site, cancel the thread update notifications, and forget the URL. Of course, if you don't broadcast that you're leaving, you run the risk of someone making a "Where's _______?" thread about you later. Oh, the humanity.

That would happen anyway since hardly anyone checks the Feedback section.
What you need to is a full-on board suicide thread if you don't want people wondering.
Of course, posting the request in the Feedback section and adding that you don't want to be a part of this community instead of a PM or an email request IS a cry for attention, IMO.

But come on, what's better than anonymously checking a thread from people wondering where you are and showering you with love, or confirming your suspicions that those *****es were talking behind your back all along?

It would take some time for me to plan my board exit. Think Scarface in Half Baked with a bit of awkwardness of Gabe from The Office.

How is she being passed around like moonshine? She dates people, we just happen to know about it because it's public...I know several women in real life that date just as much or more than her. I could see if all these guys were friends, but as far as I know, they aren't and they run in different circles. Now I don't condone any kind of cheating, so I rebuke her just for that...but I don't think her dating behavior is abnormal.
It's a figure of speech. I personally have a way different take on "dating" than a lot of women today. So it's just my opinion...her dating behavior is abnormal TO ME. But then again.. so is the "dating" behavior of a lot of women today. If your opinion is different.. so be it.

Celebrities' dating decisions just serve to tell me what they're like. I mean, Kanye we already know is a blowhard and capable of much tomfoolery, but once he dates Kim K and tries to tell you he's in love with her, you know he's as deep as the kiddie pool.
See John Mayer and Jessica Simpson for another example, which many people poked fun at and were confused by because they thought he was so deep, only to then be surprised by his stupidity and verbal diarrhea. Seems to me Jessica was the smarter one of the two when all was said and done.
Excellent points. But I won't front.. I do still have a crush on John Mayer.. shameful.. I know. But he's a cutie and I do enjoy is music. Not really sure what's up with his strange "look" these days though cause it's not working for him. He has displayed himself in the media as a total douche though... he did Taylor Swift wrong. He knew that little girl should have been off limits. SMDH.
Okay, I vaguely recall some stuff about Taylor Swift and John Mayer, but I had no idea it really was a thing. Ick, Taylor Swift is kind of a child. I'm sure she's of age and all, but her maturity isn't exactly that of a grown woman. She still writes and expresses herself like a teen girl. Yeah, this kind of says something about her, considering John Mayer was no longer fooling anyone about the type of guy he is.
From what I could gather from her comments and her song about him.. she fell for him and he seriously led her on. She ended it before it got way to far because she saw for herself he was a douche. She was warned to leave him the hell alone because he's a douche she stated but still tried to see the best in him. She's very young. John is in his 30's...and I think he was messing with this little girl's head. Clearly, all this ish started when they made that song together on his album. To me being "of age" doesn't always mean mature enough to handle a relationship with a much older man. And I think this fool knew that.. he just used her. SMDH.

Swift thinks everyone leads her on, lol. She seems to be stuck at 14 as far as her views on men go.

Good point. Even though she's 22 now she still seems to act like a 14 or 15 year old to me. I was stunned that she dated Jake Gyllenhaal (sp ?) He seems WAY too mature for her. But he ended it.. pretty fast I read. I don't think he ended up in one of her songs though..guess he let her down easy.

Lol!

If I was a man, I wouldn't date her for fear of being in a song.

If she's going to be an adult celebrity woman and date celebrity men, she needs to take off the rose colored glasses.

But, emotional angst seems to bring home the big bucks, so I guess it's working for her.

Two more years of college and then a master's degree. Engineering is suffocating me. I like it...I really do, but I think the whole "loving" it thing was an infatuation.

Ughhh. Just thinking about it makes me stressed and exhausted.

Also, I talked to a woman today about getting into the teaching masters degree program and getting out of some of the pre-reqs. I'm an engineering major, I'll have to take 400 level math classes to graduate with my engineering degree....but the education school won't let me skip MATH 111 and Math 112 or take an exam to test out of them ....seriously. Ughhh.

Uh oh, Zimmerman's brought in another attorney. According to Reuters, he has hired a Veteran Criminal Defense Attorney and media pundit.

Sounds like his mommy and daddy know something the rest of us don't.

George Zimmerman lawyer: "Fairly simple but tragic case of self-defense" - Crimesider - CBS News

Quote:
New Zimmerman lawyer Hal Uhrig told CBS News there's been too much emphasis on race in discussions surrounding the deadly Feb. 26 shooting in Sanford, Fla.

"This is not a guy who has a racial bone in his body," Uhrig said. "Take out issues of race, take out political preferences and so forth, just look at the law and what actually happened - this was a fairly simple but tragic case of self-defense."

Zimmerman isn't going to jail for murder period. I've just accepted that as fact now. I don't think there is any evidence they could use to prove he killed Martin in cold blood. So if he does go to jail for something.. I just don't see how it's going to be for murder in Florida. His father was a Supreme Court judge and he was smart to retain this lawyer for George.

Being racist (if he is) isn't illegal. He says he was attacked and shot Martin in defense. There are so many conflicting stories.. I can't see how it can be proven that he wasn't physically attacked in a court of law. Even the so called witnesses seem to be saying conflicting things. I've read Martin was on top of Zimmerman..and then I actually saw and heard a witness say they saw Martin on top beating Zimmerman up.

Initially, from certain reports it seemed cut and dry to me..but the more I hear and read... I just don't know. I'm at the point where I don't know what the heck went on that night and I don't think anyone else does except for George Zimmerman. One thing that does seem pretty clear is that the Sanford, FL police are shady as heck and didn't handle this situation properly at all. I think the family should sue them.

Zimmerman's father wasn't a judge

“Robert J. Zimmerman served as a full-time magistrate from 2000-2006. Please be advised that in Virginia magistrates are judicial officers, but they are not considered "judges" and do not possess trial jurisdiction. More detailed information on the role of the magistrate in Virginia is available on Virginia's Judicial System Website .”

Zimmerman: Dad worked as magistrate

A magistrate in Virginia is a justice of the peace.

§ 19.2-33. Office of magistrate.

"The office of magistrate shall be vested with all the authority, duties and obligations previously vested in the office of justice of the peace prior to January 1, 1974."
Just clarifying...so much stuff has been thrown around about this case.
