Yoooo are you talking about The Color of Friendship?
Please tell me someone else remembers this movie! I took a course on Apartheid last semester and tried to work it into class one day...lol epic fail. I don't understand why everyone didn't watch every DCOM ever like I did growing up

To whom it may concern (including attention-hussies):
Stop stomping around like you are a blasted elephant.
Could your sandals and flip-flops be any noisier?
When you're on the phone, the whole office/everyone around you does NOT need to hear you.
I can be noisy too. Want to hear me sing opera? Trust me. You don't.
P.S. You make $50k per year. Reading IS part of your job. No I will not read for you.

I am keeping him. His dad wants to change his name. His ENTIRE name. Just because he doesn't like the name Joseph. He wants to change it to something that has a "jay" sound...like Jason, so his name can sound cool. WTF!!!!! Joseph starts with a J! You don't need a "jay" sound!!! smh

I know a couple that changed school-aged children's first names after they adopted them. I was like WTF?! One of them was already 8 years old and they didn't even ask her beforehand..
Sorry!
Why can they change his name? I thought you changed your mind about the adoption.

I really need to be in bed right now as I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. Being bored at work doesn't help matters.

Why anyone is surprised by this is beyond me...
For second time in three weeks, a CNN reporter says
It's the one racial slur I've heard on television and radio more than any other since I was a kid. Not even remotely surprised it's being said on news outlets now.
