Car stickers saying you dont like Obama is fine but when they're paired with five confederate flag stickers then you get a side eye. Shouldnt college students know about the confederate flag by now?

He's not getting first degree murder if he's charged with anything. You need a Grand Jury for first degree murder in Florida from what I understand about the law there.

So it's left up to Corey whether or not Zimmerman will be arrested and on what charges he will face. But we know it won't be first degree murder..and I'm sure none of us are really surprised by that at all. I know I'm not. But I can't wait to see what Corey will charge him with if she does...should prove to be interesting. I think she'll feel pressured to give him some sort of charge. Wonder what though ? Any ideas ?

It always has seemed to me that Trayvon's family just wanted just proper procedure to be followed. They didn't want all this tom foolery that some people are talking about such as seeking this dude out and hurting him, his family, and his lawyer..and then they didn't want the New Black Panther Party involved. Which if you ask me.. they (the NBPP) have just been shameful, an embarrassment to themselves, and ridiculous.

At least Trayvon's family has seemed to carry themselves with dignity and have been consistently just asking for things to be carried out properly. I hope they sue all that they can sue though at some point. Because how this case was handled is pathetic.

I chose it because Joseph was the first son of Rachel. He was advisor to the pharaoh, he did many good deeds. I thought it was a strong name. He doesn't like it because he said it is too common (like Jason isn't). He doesn't care too much about the biblical reasons behind why I chose Joseph. He just doesn't like it.

Homeboy is gonna have to come with a better rational than that.

The family has conduct themselves with dignity and I pray that everyone else continues to do for the family's sake. I do hope that can bring about and win a civil suit against not only Zimmerman, but the Sanford police department. Also, I hope the police chief who "temporarily" stepped down will not be re-instated and procedures are put in place by either the state or the Feds on how to handle "stand your ground cases". As it is now, they are too subjective.

Thanks, guys! I really appreciate it! I am not even a really religious person but Joseph's life really stuck out to me and I wanted him to have that name. His name is Joseph David. Named him David after my late grandfather, he was a strong, loving man; hard working west indian and great father (and grandfather). He meant so much to me, i wanted to honor him in that way. There is sooo much meaning behind his name but I don't want to seem stubborn. :-/

@juanab I tried to reason with him about just having "jay" as a nickname, my mom even calls him jay. But he just wasn't seeing it. I hope we can work it out too.
