You know, I essentially said exactly what's being said, just without the sugarcoating and I got an angry response, but no explanation as to how I was wrong. And that's because I'm not wrong in my interpretation.

I also like the appearance of "you're wrong and other people here agree with me" to prove a point. Classic.

I guess I expected more of a response to such an impassioned post on such an important perspective around here. Oh well maybe she got some better answers via PM which is none of my biz.

Maybe I'm incorrect but I'm not sure that in the big scheme of things most really even care..cause there will always be POC willing and ready to sell out. And they know that..

I will say this...that response was fast...which is why I put it there. Had I put it here, it would have been ignored (I know it would have been read but it's easy to ignore what's said here). So I just went ahead and put it on front street and swoop...less than 10 minutes a response. But that thread gets to 13-14 pages and ain't no one said nothing until then....Oh ok.

And no...no response via PM but I wasn't looking or expecting that. Honestly, I really do hope what I said is addressed or at the very least an attempt to address it.

And what is that about? I just don't get it. I guess they figure they have Foxy over here to "deal with us". No shade to Foxy, but I truly feel that is what it comes down to. It reminds me of D.C.-- you got the politicians for the black folks and the politicians for the white folks. It takes damn near a meltdown for anyone outside of Foxy to grace the pages over on this side of town. But one angry post, especially if comes from one of these people-- and it turns into we can't have that over here.

I'm kind of disappointed that she would suggest establishing a universal "no quotes in siggy" rule.

I think if they were to seriously change how things are there is this concern from members (members all over the board) they won't be able to show their asses like they are used to doing and the owners are concerned folks may leave and the board will slow down dramatically. And that will start effin with NC money. So this whole "free speech" thing is championed by both sides. Sure, I think some POC know what's up here but unifiying (sp ?) over it seems is of no real interest.

I believe the powers that be know it and this is why nothing happens and these concerns are basically blown off with a nice word or two about how this isn't the intention of anyone. I mean think about it.. what really happened in that thread when all this stuff went down ? There was a big heated discussion.. a few mods said their portion to no avail..more heated discussion about race and inconsistency..and in the end it came down to nothing. Absolutely nothing besides a few ruffled feathers and it's back to NC business.

Same thing happened when that ridiculous attack against this very 4a thread happened. Not a dang thing and moderation was here paying attention because it was out right admitted. It wasn't until the ish flew "over there" and a POC was involved that it was.. "Oh now you've gone to far". And a 3 days and 3 nights in the grave rule was ressurected. I can't respect that kind of BS.

And yes.. as much as I like Foxy and I think she does a great job when here.. just like when they send the black reporter or "ethnic looking" reporter to an area where a lot of negros are.. I definitely think she's used as a token up over here. I mean since no one hangs out over here and all but yet they know all what's going on over here when some ish pops off.. yeah. Okay.

I haven't seen anybody pick on anybody on this thread that are "regulars". I'm fairly new n never got picked on, called out or made to feel uncomfortable. Some ppl need to stop going by what others sayand come to nc for themselves, learn to agree n disagree and move on.
I like everybody on here cuz u r all funny and entertaining. Somebody** needs to get a grip and learn to spell. :-P
