Does anybody believe that m Jackson was affiliated with the illuminati? Cuz I was lookin at some of his vids n lyrics and based off the small knowledge I have about it, he looked pretty involved.

He seems so self involved in some of his vids, and his performance of what about us (I think that's what it was) and ppl are hugging and kissing him like he's a god or something...idk. I was young when most of his stuff came out so Im just now paying attention to him...anyway. what do u guys think

Because they triflin. Story of my life.

Would it be out of the question for you to establish a policy where they pay you up front? At least a deposit or half of the fee they'd owe.
I just realized yesterday that a neighbor who came to me with a sob story about her lights getting turned off if she didnt pay the bill the next day has been nowhere to be seen. She promised to pay me back the next week. She said all the other neighbors told her they were broke. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and loan but loaned her less than she asked for which she made a comment like "well it's something" which rubbed me wrong. She has this "boyfriend" she kicks out then lets back in. She told me he is lazy, doesnt help with bills and has a drug problem. Now who lets people on drugs stay in their house except people on drugs? I also heard she talked the landlord into going into a program that subsidizes her rent while we all pay full price. I have met her family including grown kids so obviously they wont give her money. I really dont need the money but She burned her bridge by not at least offering an explanation as why she cant pay me back instead of hiding.

I always thought the Illuminati was made up....(at least in connection with modern celebrities, I know it was supposed to be an actual society in the old days). DOes anyone else believe in it? If so, why? Just wondering...

Many celebrities have make references to themselves as a god-like figure. I think the big-ego comes with the territory. I mean, millions of people flock to you, pay big bucks to see you, read about you, and admire your art/talent so I see why it's easy to get a big head. Some are graceful enough to remain modest about it and some aren't...

Also, sometimes the god thing, especially if it's only seen in one music video as more of an artistic thing and not as a constant thing. (Or at least I hope).

I'm on the fence honestly. Well, I think that a lot of ppl who are supposedly in it are also said to worship a baphamet. So even if the illuminati isn't real, the devil worshipping is probably real, at least to an extent.

Ppl seem to be really pissed when they point out things about mj, but when its a rapper theyre cool with it.
I don't think its a coincidence that they all do the same gestures and refer to the devil in various ways. Like in one mj song he says the devil is making him dance or something like that...I thought he was religious. I wouldn't want to give the devil credit for my skills unless I was ok with it

Wow.. this gives a very interesting perspective on the whole Trayon thing..very interesting read...
Trayvon Martin: Before the world heard the cries | Reuters

It details his father's account, how his sister-in-law is a lawyer and how she contacted another civil rights lawyer..and through him they came up with a strategy to get this story in the media. At first the media wouldn't touch the story...

The police there in Sanford..wow. They are beyond ridiculous.

See those were my thoughts too, esp when I first paid att to beyonce n jayz. Especially jay, I remember the first cd I bought he was talking about the church n a negative way, then I found that on all of his cds. And some of the stuff n beyonce videos just rubs me wrong. I wasn't looking for anything weird in hers and I would be like damn beyonce! (Like the chick on the cross in the run the world vid)

I don't know what some celebrities are up to.. but I was surprised to see actual video of Beyonce wearing a Baphomet ring at her husband's concert. It was a huge full on pagan image of Baphomet. Also that symbol that Jay-Z puts up..the triangle with his eye in.. it's the eye of Horus. I read some lyrics to some of Jay-Z's less popular songs..and I was pretty stunned at the clear references he makes to paganism. But I don't think a lot of kids actually comprehend what he's saying..they just jam off his music.

I'm not saying Jay-Z or Beyonce are in the illumanti, Satanists, or in the occult. I'm just saying they do seem to "play around" with that sort of thing...I did get the impression though that Jay-Z initially was doing it to see "cool" and "different"..as if he knew some stuff others didn't...

@marrah I knooo! Omg, beyonce is too much for me, I can barely look at her lol. She had that baphamet outfit too for one of her performances where she was sasha fierce.
And also in that 1+1 vid there was a bunch of weird stuff n there, and although there were a bunch of illuminati vids about it I looked at her regular video cuz I heard she said something wrong, then I was like wtf at the stuff n it.

Jay and kanye r crazy, I understand if u dnt believe in God, but the way they refer to the church like they can't stand it is too much for me. I've even seen Alicia keys wearing baphamets b4....I just sit there like, this thing is not attractive for u to be wearing it and sticking it in ur videos for artisic reasons.

It looks to me she's posing like this on purpose to be provocative with this Baphomet nonsense.

And here she is actually wearing a Baphomet ring:

Here is she is doing the Eye of Horus symbol:

I don't know what this woman is up to.. but I do think she definitely knows something about the imagery she's projecting. I've also noticed Kanye West wearing clothing and jewelry with Baphomet and the eye of Horus on it.

And I do have to say it didn't seem like Beyonce had much of that in her "style" until she got with Jay-Z. So it's all rather interesting.

You know I think it's a bunch of dumb stuff and they are playing a game..and think they are sooo "deep" and "cool" with this stupidity..I read this interview by Alicia Keys some years back and I had to laugh that people think this girl is on the up and up and so deep just because she wrote some songs about love and heartache. BFD so did Donnie Hathaway...and he was better than she'll ever be musically and HE DEAD! I had to cry laughing when some fans of hers were all crushed when she started sleeping with a married man. LOL! I was like.. "yall dumb..cause I'm not surprised in the least".

And I read thee dumbest most knuckledhead interview she did with Blender Magazine. She was just talking right stupid in it... like she was ohhh so deep and didn't seem to realize she sounded like a delusional ignant fool that smoked a little to much frickken weed. Then when she caught flack for it..she tried to claim her comments were "misrepresented". And Blender said she did say all that stuff and they stand by their report. They quoted HER words.

Hmmm...

@Marah : I had never seen those pictures before. That's interesting, I knew about Jay-Z but I didn't realize Beyonce was THAT into it.

I wonder if they just like the idea of the symbols (their ancient historic meaning, which doesn't have anything to do with Satan) or if they are more interested in the satanic/occult side, or if they are just messing around because it's "cool".

I feel like a ton pagan symbols/gods have been misrepresented by society (especially when big 5 religions started gaining followers) so that people would give up their beliefs more easily.

I am confused...the Eye of Horus is a symbol of protection. Why is that bad?

That's what I was sort of saying in my post above yours....I wonder if they take on the real intended meaning or the other more "evil" one. I've heard the other one being thought of as more of a yin and yang duality type of symbol.

Some people believe that those symbols are more related to satanic worshiping which is way off from the original meaning behind it. (from what I've read)

This is kind of way off point but...

The Eye of Horus got me thinking about Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Anyone else read those as a kid? Does anybody remember all of those eyes that were connected with the mystery behind Count Olaf? Those things were creepy.

I remember when practically all of my spare time was devoted to figuring all that mess from those books. I still don't think the author ever even gave a clear answer.

Someone was trying to convince me that Bey & Jay were going to take over with that illuminati stuff. Honestly folks I believe in the organization but those two clowns aren't running things. If world domination is the game I know they are not using those two to do more than raise a little capital and peon followership.

Currently reading the wiki entry for the illuminati. I still don't understand where the conspiracy is coming from. Seems like it's just a group of elitist academics. Tons of groups like that. World domination? Hmm, not sure about that, but even if they were seeking that, how would that differ from what we see everyday? It's all arbitrary imo.

McCarthyism, anyone?
