I've been admiring her for a while now. I can't believe she's in her 40's. IMO she looks fantastic. I almost died when I found out she had an adult child. And then I saw the pictures..and I'm sorry but that looks like her sister...not her daughter. Between her skin and that gorgeous hair... she's giving some chicks in their mid 20's and 30's a good run for their money.
Agree. It's the same thing with me though. Nobody believes it when I tell them I'm 42. People assume I'm no older than 30. But then I've always looked younger than my chronological age. It was annoying in my 20's when I looked like a teenager, but I don't mind it now. But then in my case, it's the old saying, "black don't crack." LOL!

Thanks, ladies!

Pale *does* crack, so I'm glad that I didn't cave in to the tanning trend that some pale women have been caught up in since the 80s. Naturally tan skin looks nice. Crispy tanned, not so much. It's weird now looking at pics of old classmates for the upcoming 25th HS reunion. I hadn't realized how old 40 could look. Dang.

I feel sooo unfulfilled...

1) I don't know what I want to do in school so this quarter is my last quarter for a little while

2) I need to find a full time job because I just can't get with being a server anymore

3) I need to find an apartment that I can afford but I can't do anything until I find a new job

4) I'm just plain bored from just going to school and laying in bed all day....I have to "take it easy"...so I won't have a setback...but this is just sooo boring!

Hey Foxy, I kept forgetting to ask you - you said you're an MSU alum. What years were you there?

Oh my gosh.. can Mrs. Michelle Obama stand up somewhere for the whole world to see and hear her speak on um..well anything.. she is incredible. I loved her article that I read in Ebony today. I hope she writes a book.. a few books after all is said and done with this Presidency thing.

President Obama is one blessed man...cause his wife is straight up DA BIDNESS! Hey..if he loses this election at least he will still have Michelle..cause the woman is bad. If that was my wife.. my head would stay on swoll...you wouldn't be able to tell me a thing! I don't care what Rush Limbaugh says..he know if he could get some "sweetness" like Michelle on the side and nobody would find out..he'd jump at the chance. ROFL! A whole lot of em' would..

Let me stop.

Michelle is bad. Heck, if SHE decided to run for president I'd be on board.

I am having so much fun filling in Marah's *so and so's* in my head. I've literally come up with 3-4 different versions of what words could fill the blanks.

Why is this song catchy? I can't. I'm dying

When he drops the beat of the track I can't help but burst up laughing.

He sounds so smooth singing about something so nasty.

Psychiatry. It was my career choice all through high school and then I changed my mind. Med school, the time, the money, malpractice. My dad mentioned it today and it brought me back to my love of psychology and all that. I just need to take 2 more classes to qualify for med school. It just changes the entire plan I had going.

I don't think this dilemma is going to last though, the more I researched the more I started remembering the reasons I decided against that path in the first place.

White sweet potato...hmmm

I love sweet potatoes! I've had orange and yellow but never white. Let me know how they turn out! I'm guessing they'll be less sweet and more starchy? Or maybe it'll be the opposite because I'm thinking of yams. I researched the difference before but now I can't remember.
