Huh? So are they admitting that she is of another culture?
Is Khloe the one that looks least "exotic"? The white looking one that doesn't match her sisters? Intriguing.

I am secretly trying to start a revolution at work. I've been behind the scenes whispering things to the right people. It's a tricky thing to do, because you have to know what to say to different individuals... but it's surprising how many people feel the same way, but never thought to do anything about it.

They won't even see this coup d'etat coming.

Yep. I would imagine they would go to their grave with that secret.

I am aware that no one watches The Game anymore, but just in case there are some lurkers, this is the perfect summary from the It's Just Hair blog:

First episode of The Game Season 5

Let's go talk by the water cooler for a sec...

Yes- I was a fan of The Game back in the day. Girlfriends and The Game were my favorite sitcoms on network TV for their durations. (Don't judge me lol)

I fear The Game has gone all meet the browns and made for BET on us. BUT I still watch it, and get a bit excited about it. Because I was hooked on the old story lines and wanted to see what would happen.

But we aren't getting to see what happens. We are seeing The Game on BET. sigh... New things that happened THEN that we didn't see? Old things that were significant in one way then are significant in a new way now.

The old Game would have made a whole ta-do about the hypocrisy of Derwin's abortion and Melanie's child.... I mean the other way around. right. And the old Melanie would have been like the rest of us and held that info as a chip in her pocket to hit him with when he was being ridiculous or asking too much. Granted, he had no choice in carrying out becoming a father or not, but she was riding with him all along in her heart of hearts. There could have been so much more depth behind that whole scenario. Alas, we got a few confrontations and a few real life situations to devour yesterday.

So Jason... and his divulgence that he is intimidated by black women because of his experiences as a young man... That's real. ok. I can see how that developed his character a bit. But the Stacy Dash bribe from his daughter about her barely being black, and then his subsequent admission that he was aware of relaxing his baby's hair to give her more of an option to "pass"... I really hope they get back on that complexity. The setting, sudden outpouring of personal info and the soundtrack(horrible!) can all try again though. No points.

The Malik and Tasha scenario... no comment. It's shallow and peppered with inappropriate humor thus far.

The styling on the show... meh. They stepped a little away from the uber glam thing they did last season, which was a relief. But is it just me or does Melanie still appear to be a little preg or carrying weight around her middle? I don't know when this particular episode was filmed and it seemed a bit seamless appearance wise from the last season. But Tia's flowy clothes and babydoll style shirts peek my curiosity- even on her appearances on 106 and Park a few days ago.

I think because she is about my age, and has been open about her trials and tribulations with becoming a mom, I am like- watching her now. lol.

Unlike Girlfriends the styles of the women on The Game are not unique, the weaves and hair colors seem arbitrary and random. I'm not connecting. I will say that I still much preferred Melanie with darker hair, and Tasha with her asymmetrical cut with the swooshy bang.

OK. I'm done. There is not much more there to even discuss, sadly.
LOL

I so wanna learn to crochet. When I used to ride metro there was this lady that used to crochet and she used to make the most interesting things! I just wanna make cute hats...lol.
You should do it. It isnt very hard if you get someone to show you. I actually took my first class in kindergarten. Knitting on the other hand I absolutely hate. A little old lady was kind enough to teach me but it was not my thing. I gave the needles to my neighbor who is a guy who loves to knit. He said most people are knit people or crochet people rarely both. Another thing is it allows u to give really nice gifts for really cheap. I made my whole family hats for Christmas one year. One roll made two adult hats and each roll was like $4.

I've stanned for the First Lady since day 1. She can't win, but she shows class at all times.

Jesus why did I read the comments.

I love Michelle. She is an excellent example of all that black women can be. Certain people can't stand that she disproves stereotypes about us every day she wakes up. I just...can I BE her when I grow up?

Yep...she can't win. She's "ugly" and "angry".

OH-- I should have put a disclaimer not to read the comments. Yahoo commenters are the dried up piece of sh*t on your shoe. They are some the most vile, racist, homophobic, people in the world. I am not sure why it attracts so many of them, but I just never even read anything down there anymore.

I definitely want to be just like her. I could never hold my composure for that long, especially under the circumstances.

And sadly it is not only white folks who call her ugly. I remember when the Prez first hit the scene and every other black woman was swooooning over his every word. I heard more than one woman comment about how ' Michelle ain't even cute' or 'how did she get him'. I was disgusted at how the claws came out once again over some ding-a-ling.

To be honest, I think he was the one that "lucked up" and I think he readily admits that. He loves him some Michelle, can barely keep his hands off of her.

If they say the wrong thing, pop them in the mouth.

If they take the wrong thing pop their hands

If they go the wrong way, pop their legs.

Under one yr old: thump them, middle finger and thumb.

It worked for me.
So the punishment should fit or correspond to the crime, so to speak.

Yeah esipecially with little ones. So it's easy for them to make the crime/consequnces connection.

Yes, if I want something Im going to buy it for myself.

Would it be nice if I had a man to surprise me with diamond earrings, hell yes but ummm I do have a job and hell , why cant I treat myself to something I want.

Why must it be a big deal that Im not married? I really dont like having an older parent from a throwback generation.

If I hear this woman bemoan one more time that fact that she doesn't have a son in law Im going to scream.

look yahso , gwaan and play with una pickney yuh was fussin at last night!!!!

I don't even want to know how much they cost. We left there after a couple of hours and went to a more casual bar, so we could keep talking. Then we took another cab back to Lincoln Park and got something to eat because we were both hungry. Then he walked me home. He asked to see me again and I said yes, so we've made plans for next week.

He was a total gentleman and very courteous. Stood up when I left the table, and returned. We kissed a few times, but they were very chaste.

I expected awkward lulls in conversation, but that didn't really happen.

So first date in 4.5 years was a success
Okay..I am home from synagogue..good grief..like murder getting outta there.. Anyhoo..

*Squeal* Oh wow..I'm so thrilled for you. I'm glad things weren't super uptight..because I was concerned about conversation lags.. LAG...LAG...LAG (sorry to much The Online Gamer) at that place anyway.. it's a big deal to not have a date in almost 5 years..and score a good one.

That's awesome. You gotta keep us updated..well me forget the rest of these heffas..SIKE!

Shared a few smooches, eh...well well well. That's sweet. And man he must have really liked you if he asked you out again already..he didn't say.."I'll call you." That's a good sign he's very interested!

I hope it keeps going well...he could be Mister Right! Or at least Mister Right Now! Whooo hoo!

Listen, girl...
I have seen people drag Michelle thru the mud...everything from personal attacks regarding her looks, to questioning how smart she was, compared to her Princeton classmates. People are vicious.

I get grief for calling "Halle Berry" crazy (people kill me with the battles they choose), but for the most part, I don't clown on women....ESPECIALLY black women. If I call a woman out for something, it's not based on something as shallow as how she "looks". We don't get to choose that, and that's a cheap shot, AND it nullifies all the work we claim we puttin' in, trying to change the way society views women and importance of physical appearance (especially for women, black women even more).

Yes, Barack loves him some Michelle, and HE is the blessed one. She's a class act, and I was so happy when they made it to the White House. Not one time have I ever been embarrassed by them...they're the classiest, most elegant couple the White House has seen in a long time.

I remember when Tim Daly called Michelle, "a beautiful woman". My heart was full - not because a fine white man (to me) said she was. But because he was so free with saying it. It wasn't forced...he just called it as he saw it. I knew he meant not just physically (I think she's stunning), but her whole being. I was like, "Yeah, he gets her".

Basically Robert Kardashian's two later wives both said that he was not Khloe's father. She responded back in a tweet calling them disgusting.

And when I see her looking ever so hot-to-death in those dresses at those state dinners and shaming those foreign first ladies, I think how in the world can people not see this woman's fierceness and utter beauty?
