The New & Improved Say It I Dare You

I'm right here, y'all!

I've been working really hard to figure my life out this semester. I feel like I can check a few things off:

1. I just found out I got a 4.0 with 17 hours.
2. I'm starting a promising internship as a research assistant in my potential career field this summer. Invaluable experience and opportunity! They'll work with me until Fall '13 when I'm ready to apply to graduate school.
3. I'll be working full time this summer.
4. Taking 2-3 summer classes and then...
5. Graduating in DECEMBER!

I'm really excited and infinitely grateful. I've also learned a lot about myself this year. I think this is what growing up feels like? Not sure.

I will have to move back into my dad's this summer though. I don't want to, considering I moved out when I was 17 and I'm used to going at my own schedule... but I don't think it will be too bad given that I have a car now. Also, I'd like to work and save up some dollars.

Oh, most importantly: I got my first curl-friendly haircut.

Omg my goodness y'all I am back in my apartment. So I finished the race and jogged the entire time. What officials failed to mention that there were 3 hills that were steep as hell. Like maybe a five or more incline if you were on a treadmill(scratch that they were more than level 5). However I did not stop. I finished at.....44 minutes for my first ever 5k with my ratchet training which was jogging three miles twice the week of the race.

I taking the plunge tonight with henna. In the past I have only done neutral or cassia because Im chicken about having bright red hair. My hair already has red undertones. But my greys are increasing and chemicals are not an option. I ordered the Henna Sooq lush brown but I decided not to use the indigo. I added coffee which the instructions say tones down the red. I let my dye release overnight so here goes.

So....

I had a great week. I graduated last weekend and I went to Vegas for the week. Vegas weather was amazing. I was a little scared at first because the temps were in the high 90's but it was actually really nice. I can take the heat without the humidity.
