i don't think it even matters whether or not the product has bad side effects. she shouldn't be profiting from a mix of ready made commercial products b/c it's unethical (and most likely illegal). ppl having bad reactions or w/e shouldn't even be an issue b/c she shouldn't be selling it in the first place.

and what kind of fool would pay that kind of money for that crap when you can get all the ingreds from rite and a natural health store?! she didn't even have the decency to buy pure AVG from whole foods for $3. using some dang FOTE.

I hate how supportive people are of me. I dont wanna be loved or appreciated. Don't acknowledge me. I just want to be left alone. I don't know how to accept compliments or support. I hate it. I hate birthdays, graduations, anything that earns someone saying something positive I want no parts. I have too high expectations for me, so nothin I do will ever be good enough.

Right. Even if it's "safe" that still doesn't address just how effective the Rogaine™ would be, after you've changed the chemical makeup.

Nothing wrong with trying to grow back thinning hair. But the way the Rogaine™ is used isn't the way it was designed to be used....along with the other issues.

Then, somebody has the audacity to mention how folks shouldn't "knock her hustle"?
Yep, yep, yep. Because you know if a "business owner" was working their hustle by selling that woman's products (the one that originally made the hustle comment), it would be a whole different story.

For a business to have integrity, its "hustle" should come from hard work and dedication to the product and the consumer. Otherwise, the business owner isn't doing anything but getting over on people and exploiting them. Plus, the shady businesses are just taking away from another business owner's legitimate "hustle"...and that's not right.
Yes...yes.

The tons of disclaimers on her page screams use at your own risk.
Wow...really?

I guess she did know she could be mixing up something that may or may not burn someone's scalp off....

Honestly, I'd be a little afraid to buy a hair product that stated something that. Something about possible allergic reactions is understandable but "use at your own risk". Uhhhh, that's a little too much of an indicator of possible dangerous chemicals for me to be purchasing from some random lady.
I am 99% sure those disclaimers were NOT there 2-3 days ago. She just added those after folks started CLOWNIN her on Facebook. The FIRST thing that was mentioned was that this "product" didn't carry any warnings.

SEcondly, this chick is risking serious fines and getting sued by a MAJOR pharmaceutical company for misuse and misrepresentation of thier trademarked product/drug. "Rogaine" carries a TON of FDA mandated warnings on the box because IT IS MEDICINE. Yes its OTC but it is STILL A MEDICINE THAT IS ABSORBED INTO YOUR BODY. I'm pretty sure the FDA would shut her ass down quick, fast and in a hurry. The jigs up girl....time to shut that shop down and pull in your shingle...take your moneys and run while you can!

i never understood how cults were formed until i went natural. all you need is to have long hair, or a product that promises to give you long hair, and folks will go hard in the paint for you NO MATTER WHAT you do. steal money, plagiarize from other blogs, resell commercial products, whatever. folks just ready to throw away money and defend strangers more than their own family.

Kimmay was not using a drug in her leave in and was not selling it. But other than that, nothing really in terms of mixing already made products and calling it something new.

IMO, the difference is that Kimmay ain't selling her leave in (to my knowledge). She told people how to make it themselves. So any "risks" are yours and yours alone since you are just following a recipe of sorts. This chick is selling and marketing a "finished" product...a product that contains an FDA drug...and she isn't including a drug warning NOR is she telling people the risks associated with using this product.

I'm about to forward screen shots of her website and this "product" to my contact at the FDA. This bish is putting folks health and safety at risk and I can NOT just sit here and not say something. I take my professional oath and licensing seriously and reporting it is the only ethical thing to do.

People are so dayum DESPERATE to have long hair that they will slap ANYTHING on thier scalps and heads...including whale *** and pu$$y cream. I'm convienced I could get folks to rub my pi$$ on thier heads for $90 per 8oz jar if I told them it would take them from 4a to 3b AND increase thier length by 4 inches per month.
i'm getting ready to mix up this my dna crap w/ some eco styler, shea butter (can't be wasting my mango butter), and aloe vera gel (the pure kind) and sell it.

i'll make an ad and put a pic of my hair from 2010 next to a recent pic and claim i got the growth in a year using it.

i'll be making it rain on y'all in a few weeks.

and thats why folks believe nothing Shawny has to say

Maybe I need to get me some good hair , fry it to death, then hack it off, wear a wig for a few months , get me some sponsors, grow my good hair back out , and then heat damage it and call it a day

I added more. My phone was acting up. It wasn't hers at all anyone could have been doing that. She just put it on the video. Many of us mix already made products. But we ain't trying to sell them as our own.

I mean would you take me seriously if I came out with my co-wash suavecastorcholesotolevoovcoaloevera?
