Wow.. AE seems to be into wig and weaves now. Her hair isn't as long as I thought it would be.. but it's still nice though.

Isn't this basically what Naptural85 survives on minus the UFD curly magic ? And her hair is GORGEOUS! Now she's a YTer that I think should get PAID. I love her informative channel, her attitude, and she really takes great care of her hair..and boy does it show. I mean her hair looks so soft, moisturized, and has a beautiful sheen. She's just a joy to watch..so pleasant.

I always find myself shying away from answering questions about my hair when folks ask me at work. I say conditioner and gel and change the subject real quick.

This guy asked me with a really curious look, how do you get it curly? I answered as quick as I could and looked away.

I dunno why I felt so on the spot about it

^Me too.

Ever since I've put in these box braids I'm just loving the simplicity of my routine now. Don't get me wrong, I love my hair. It's just a lot to handle.

Being in box braids has also got me itching for locs again. I know I'm going to get locs one day but it's just a matter of when I give into the urge. My loose haired days are numbered.

I'm the same way, I don't like to answer questions about my hair. I have started saying I use TN and Blue Ecostyler gel and I leave it at that.

I mean let's be real.. we know a lot of black folks damn near lose they minds when it comes to some light skinned chick having "good hair". Because what Naturalista said was right on the money. Her hair was STRAIGHT BUSTED when she had severe heat damage that distorted her natural curl (which ain't no damn 3a like folks was swearing it was) Her natural hair is a typical 3b and 3c mix (like mine) when it's not all fried up with bleach, hair color, and lifted at the roots with a diffuser which is her normal thing.

But you can't tell a lot of black folks that.. all they know is this pretty light skinned girl got good hair so whatever she says about hair is diamonds and gold. SHE even finally copped to the fact that she had heat damage..after all this denial when certain "hard for the cause" sistas went on her videos and told her the ish looked damaged from heat. But she SWORE it wasn't for the longest time..then a year later comes with a video saying she was in denial. Cuts her hair and starts over on this new journey.

Let me hush up before another person come on here and accuse us of hating on light skinned folks like Nicole Murphy. Cause goodness forbid you are saying something because that's just how you really feel rather than being jealous.
Omg. Spill that tea.

Well she's a partner so I'm sure she gets compensated by YouTube. A lot of YouTube partners get paid because the YouTube company lets companies pay for advertisements (commercials, banners) on YouTube videos. YouTube breaks them off a piece of that by giving them a few cents per click or per view on qualifying vids.

Anyway you may already know that. But I agree that her and her hair are awesome. She has the type of hair to hate on.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I used to answer it grows that way! But I have to remember that even I forgot that my hair was so curly because I always straightened or had braids or buns and if I tried to wear it natural it would be frizzy and poofy with absolutely no definition. Just the other day an old friend saw me and said I didn't know your hair was so curly and I said I didn't know my hair was so curly either.

I prefer Denimpixie's YouTube videos. Taren is a nice gal but I get little info from her even though her latest posts about vlogger value was on point IMO.

Marah you're right lol. Let them come on in here. Cuz I'm a bright chick so what can they say? Shoo, she's a "redbone" with "good hair" to many black chicks and that's enough to make them follow her to the ends of the earth, or her heat damage. I don't see how a person with 4b-c etc can be like Oooh my hair guna look like that! Girl stop.

And naturalista you're right kim isn't a wonder of the world lol cuz its plenty of videos where I just stop watching because she was just off putting lol.
