No that's not Alek Wek.. but holy smokes.. the lady in the yellow above is so striking! Looks like they used some sort of makeup on her or some sort of photo shop to make her skin look like it's glowing. Her damn eyes is what grab me.. I would love to see her in an all white gown!

Marah I am not surprised one bit that NYPD is losing their minds & wandering out their jurisdiction. Having lived in upstate NY I'm curious about where they are hanging out. NJ cops are no better. I'm going to follow this.

OAN I totally agree about the Jackson clan. If Diana is next in line for the kids then she will probably make those kiddos get a job. The Ross kids earn theirs.lol. It sucks that the Jackson family is crazy & Dunk (Janet) may have been close to Michael but she doesn't seem to be into kids.

OMT I love marvel comics over DC. My fave is Thor. Preferably That beautiful man Chris Hemsworth. Just the right level of swagger & strength. My dh is more like Bruce Banner though, the strong, silent scientist type. Lol.

And its official 4a is THE place to be on NC

Some text from the article:

The caller, Salil Sheth, had stumbled upon one of the NYPD's biggest secrets: a safe house, a place where undercover officers working well outside the department's jurisdiction could lie low and coordinate surveillance. Since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, the NYPD, with training and guidance from the CIA, has monitored the activities of Muslims in New York and far beyond. Detectives infiltrated mosques, eavesdropped in cafes and kept tabs on Muslim student groups, including at Rutgers.

The NYPD kept files on innocent sermons, recorded the names of political organizers in police documents and built databases of where Muslims lived and shopped, even where they were likely to gather to watch sports. Out-of-state operations, like the one in New Brunswick, were one aspect of this larger intelligence-gathering effort. The Associated Press previously described the discovery of the NYPD inside the New Jersey apartment, but police now have released the tape of the 911 call and other materials after a legal fight.

At the NYPD, the bungled operation was an embarrassment. It made the department look amateurish and forced it to ask the FBI to return the department's materials.

The emails highlight the sometimes convoluted arguments the NYPD has used to justify its out-of-state activities, which have been criticized by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and some members of Congress. The NYPD has infiltrated and photographed Muslim businesses and mosques in New Jersey, monitored the Internet postings of Muslim college students across the Northeast and traveled as far away as New Orleans to infiltrate and build files on liberal advocacy groups.
The comments under the article are disgusting. I always see true colors through the internet.

OS ANGELES (AP) - A judge appointed Tito Jackson's son Wednesday as a temporary guardian of Michael Jackson's children.
In addition, the judge temporarily suspended Katherine Jackson as the children's guardian because she is in Arizona and hadn't spoken with them in several days.
TJ Jackson appeared in court and sought the temporary appointment, but his attorney said he wasn't trying to replace Katherine Jackson permanently.
TJ Jackson said he spoke with Katherine Jackson on Tuesday, but she sounded strange. He says she was using words he had never heard her use and her voice at times sounded slurred.
The appointment came after days of turmoil among the Jackson family, with a relative reporting Katherine Jackson missing before she was located safely with other family members in Arizona.
Katherine Jackson is the court-appointed guardian of her son Michael's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket. The children have remained at the home they share with their grandmother in Calabasas.
The house was the scene of a family disturbance Monday that sheriff's deputies continue to investigate

The Jackson should go stay with the Jenners in Calabasas for a while.

I know Michael Jackson is turning over in his darn grave. But he messed up though. I really just don't think he should have left his kids anywhere near his nutty family... his mother was just too old and she's always been passive. Now that she's not doing so well.. you KNOW they are taking advantage. I see Jermaine and Janet ran their behinds over there to Arizona..FINALLY. Instead of being at the estate in Cali causing stress to the kids that hadn't spoke to their grandmom in DAYS!

MJ should have specifically asked Diana Ross or one of her kids to please take care of his kids if he dies and over time with supervision allow the kids to visit and learn about their family.. the Jacksons. And had that put directly in his will instead of having her as a secondary in case Katherine dies.

Now I hope TJ doesn't do things improperly now with guardianship (and you KNOW money is involved because those kids have to have money to live off of..and MJ allotted them $$$) and doesn't treat those children properly..letting his older relatives influence bad parenting. I hope he has some sense...so Paris is not all on Twitter feeling the need to tweet: He's crazy yall.. he got us in here held like hostages and spending money like it's water!

@coilynapp, I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

@Marah, ITA...Michael is pissed looking down on his family right now. I thought my family was a hot azz mess, but damn...Imma go home and call up some of them just to say I'm glad we're family....I would have to jack a body and come back down to earth to cut some people. It goes to show that it's not automatic that your family is the best to take care of your kids should something happen to you.

I don't know about DR. I read the unauthorized biography (great read) and even if half that stuff is true I wouldn't want her near my kids. Her moral compass is off.
My family can get cray but in the end we are highly protective of one another. Like we can talk bad about eachother but let someone else do it and it's hellacious for them. I will say I have seen where when money or property is involved some families about lose their minds. When my neighbor died her grandson pulled a gun on his aunt in a dispute over who would get the house. The whole house issue ended up in court and it was a big mess.

Reading that post reminded me of when I complained to my former stylist about scalp burns and she told me to rub so Neosporin on it. My dumb butt kept going to her because she made my hair so straight and purdy. I can't believe how dumb I was to endure chemical burns. I know it was because I've always been taught that we have to suck it up whether it be the hot comb burn, dry combing, horrible chemical smells, scabs on the scalp.

But now I am delivered and free. Hallelujah!!

That was me. It didn't matter how mild the relaxer was, I would burn. Used base, still burned. I never let myself run out of Neosporin. Ewwwwww, the memories make me shudder.

Did she say anything to you? I was at the mall with a girl friend once and a little girl walked past us with who looked to be her mom and grandma, and she pointed at us and exclaimed, "Look! Brown people!"

Hmm.. Well yeah Diana Ross was a trip in her day too. But her family is NOT like the Jacksons. Her kids seem like they have some damn sense.

But you know what.. from what I've been reading TJ Jackson is a great guy.. He's 34, been happily married since 2007, has 3 children with his wife, and has been supportive of MJ's kids from day one. He apparently idolized his uncle Michael. Remember that band T3 Michael Jackson had..it was TJ and his brothers.

I read that he was the one doing a lot of the caring for them (MJ's kids) anyway..plus apparently he's displayed on Twitter since this whole thing began that's he's on Paris Jackson's side.. NOT his aunts and uncles. Also once it was released that he was trying to get custody of the children..his father Tito quickly asked that his name be removed from the petition the Jackson kids signed..he said he wanted no part of it.

Why why why did I not remember to put my ring back on???

I took before I got in the shower and put it on the sink. Left to go to work in the lab and then noticed it wasn't on my finger. Came home and now it's gone. Oh, please don't let it have gone down the drain.

My mommy gave me that ring when I turned 16 and I've been wearing it ever since. Ughhh
