Michelle is a politician's wife - particularly THEE president's. She understands and is comfortable with the role she chose. Her DNC speech wasn't about highlighting her personal accomplishments, but more about helping to push her husband into a second term. Sorry, but that's the way it is. She knows that, and her pre-presidency accomplishments aren't dimmed because of it.

Nothing wrong with "standing by your man", and if Barack Obama was my man, (Lawd have MUCH mercy!), I'd stand by him (and wherever else he wanted me to stand) too. I'm sure he has her back, or she wouldn't have chosen him to be her life partner. She gets to choose who she wants to be, and it doesn't have to line up with what "we" think her agenda should be, as a woman.

Sometimes we need to let people be, without feeling the need to break them down, to the lowest denominator.

So, basically these particular lyrics conform to a message I like which is why we should take them seriously. I’m fair and objective.

I'm not on this whole Mrs. Obama shoulda said x,y, and z about whatever career. She ain't running for president..her husband is...she's his wife and she did the wife thing. That's what she was supposed to do represent as HIS WIFE. She rocked it. Period. I know the GOP was choking on pure 100 proof haterade because no GOP woman they put forth did it better and I know it's an extra knife in the gut that it came from Mrs. Obama specifically.

Oh and come on.. she's backing up Barack Obama not Lil' Wayne. If sistas EVER needed a clinic put on about how to back up THE RIGHT KIND OF BROTHA.. they got it when Mrs. Obama addressed the DNC! BOOM...JUST LIKE THAT!

And they (the GOP) definitely suffered fatalities and severe injuries with some laying up in intensive care from last night when Bill Clinton detonated that bomb at their headquaters and walked off smooth into the moonlight with a smirk on his face. I LOVE IT!

What is CIAB? And yea Oyin is still the business. If you're feeling fancy though I'd recommend copping some Bask goodies if you haven't tried them.

Well I love the body scrubs, the cupuacu nilla body oil, and the whipped custard (lemon beignet :happy2; ).

For hair, I love the silk latte and the palm tapioca cream.
