Even though I feel more comfortable with actually doing my job I still feel miserable about going in this morning. I think part of the problem was my lack of experience but the other part is my boss. She's just so anal and condescending about everything.
I usually don't let people's negativity affect me but it's sort of hard when that person is in charge of you.
I started dreading it yesterday and it's just gotten worse up until this morning.
I'm going to quit as soon as I find something else or save enough money to get by.

Greenjumper I hope you have a better week. Try being positive & optimistic around your boss. Keep doing your best. Hopefully you find something better soon.

This cable guy needs to hurry up and turn on my Internet so I can see the gifs. They don't play on my phone.

I'm sorry you're going through this. If you feel you need to leave and you can get out of it then I hope you can do so successfully. Life is too short and when you waste your time being miserable you miss out on better opportunities.
I beyond hated my last job. It took a few months to really see it that way though. But I had the chance to leave and I screwed it up. Major regret. I stayed for 2 years because I got comfortable and I liked having a steady paycheck. Looking back I'd rather have been unemployed, broke and happy than dread work every single day. It's not worth it.

So I waited all morning for cable guy and he never showed up. I'm still dealing with issues in my new place so I had to run to office, also checked mail and took out trash. plus i have been watching behind maintenance guy fixing my stuff. But I made sure I was never gone more than a few minutes They didnt tell me when i made the appointment that the guy would be calling and if you miss the call he won't show up. I would have known that i would have had the phone glued to me. Now i waited all morning for nothing and they want to reschedule for a day I have to work. I may be getting satellite.

I am for alot of what the CTU want but that link is one-sided. I am not a fan of the CTU president...she is a bully (I know from personal experience) but I must applaud her for standing "her" ground. Too bad she didn't pull this in 2010 when she took office and Daley was still in charge.

Less than a few hours of declaring myself on a no buy and I already have the shakes. Maybe I can go to Ulta and just sniff the conditioners. That won't hurt anything.

Just got off the phone with my CC company regarding that penalty charge that my tuition company would waive if my CC company would send them a fax or email. I was promised that that documentation would be sent by fax today and I recorded our conversation and got their names. BOOM

Electric cars freak me out
http://www.chevrolet.com/volt-electr...|_chevy%20volt
I'm all for going green and reducing carbon emissions, but I'd be scared to drive that. Anyone ever drive an electric car?

No, I've never driven one, nor have a desire to. Electric cars just don't appeal to me. I like horsepower and torque, so I'll always be partial to 8-cylinder gas guzzlers.
ETA: As for cars that freak me out -> Smart cars. They look like glorified golf carts to me. With the way these drivers here in Vegas are (and basically EVERYWHERE), there's no way you could get me to drive/ride in one.

Did some twists. Should I put my hair up in a pineapple to avoid smushed ends in the morning? I'm worried if I put it up the twists will not fall right in the morning.

My dad has a Chevy Volt. He's been really into the electric car ever since I can remember ( he was really into the prototypes and development stages 30 years ago before the "green trend" was popular.
I read something about the development of cars that will drive themselves. Now THAT creeps me out for real! There are way too many variables on the highway and in neighborhoods to program for. I'd have a hard time trusting it. Like if a little kid runs into the road is that car going to stop?

I've already seen some of that! Some luxury cars have this ability to park without any manipulation from the driver. That freaks me out too.
I have this phobia about robots taking over the world. Ever since I was little stuff like that gave me the heebie jeebies. Technology is scary.

Right. And I don't need any machine that has brains.
I remember this Disney movie, Smart House. Totally not about cars, but still the concept...I just shudder at the thought.
I couldn't do a smart car either. They are way too small for my comfort. However they do seem to be very aerodynamic and agile. I like bigger vehicles though.

I went to the music store and got my guitar polished and new strings put on. I can't wait to play my brand new song for the songwriter's festival.
