So I invited my coworker over to look through hair magazines bc the boss has been on her case hard about getting her hair cut. She was not happy about cutting but I told her it goes with the territory of the job. Two other people chopped several inches recently. She has curly/wavy and she is afraid of going short and getting a fro. Finally she decided she just wanted to get it over with so she took the picture she liked to the mall to Regis. I went for support. It looks cute. Got bangs. The less weight makes her curl come out more. It is still below shoulder but she still feels bald headed.

Why do ppl think drinking water and taking vitamins is only beneficial for their hair? Just because your hair is growing doesn't mean you're not dehydrated

Ugh @ the WSJ for this obviously biased tone on the US Ambassador's death. Why mention that the creator of the video is Israeli-American in the first paragraph (and not mention the video's contents until the end) as if that matters or makes the video any less offensive.

And ugh @ Mittens for saying that Obama's response seemed sympathetic to the attackers. I'm pretty sure he said he wasn't going to cut ties with the Libyan government--which is smart. HOW IS THAT SYMPATHETIC TO EXTREMISTS?

and UGH @ that video.

I think what happened was horrible. And that poor man went back to help his staff. I hope the culprits are brought to justice. I realize individuals committed this act and I'm not lumping all Muslims or everyone from Libya as being evil as some people around here are doing. The Pres is right not to cut ties unless this was a government supported action. I have been to North Africa although not that country and the people were wonderful to my friend and I and the people knew we weren't Muslim. As a black person I know what they say about "us" when one of "us" does something wrong. I'm not going to play that game. I heard some people in libya tried to help the victims and even took them to the hospital.

Also whether the film was offensive or not is no excuse for murdering people. I love Jesus and i have had people tell me my religion is stupid and so am I for believing it. Still I would never dream of killing someone for insulting my religion or my God.

adthomas: Oh I definitely don't think the video was justification for murder. Nothing justifies murder, really.

Just that the video seemed deliberately offensive and that the whole situation is messed up. I was typing my thoughts as I read more about what happened so I got to the video last.

Fox News posted a photo of Stevens where he looks dead or near death. How horrible for his family!!! Is this really needed? I can't imagine if that was my loved one. I'm in the media but I disagree with some of what goes on. At the very least it shouldn't be on front page of site. Let people at least click on something so they can choose if they want to see that.
