But see, my father is a "dresser". He never goes out lookin' raggedy. He's in his eighties.
I want to be like him! Hence my post about Banana Republic. It blows my mind how important it is to dress well.

I like a lot of BR but their sizing is seriously out of whack. The same size of pants should NOT vary by 6 inches at the waist depending on an old and recent model.

You could also be a writer for a magazine because sometimes publications like someone with authority in the subject to write about it. I know the NY times has science sections.

The FBI has tons of positions for science people. You could work as a secret agent for them. ( I actually looked all this up before because I had a tiny obsession with being a spy when I was younger). They like their agents to have varied academic backgrounds. They also have non-agent jobs too if you aren't into espionage.

Just giving you ideas you may not have thought of at first.
welp there we go. LOL.

It's a joke based on the above bolded part. She says she's a settler, but clearly she's not otherwise she wouldn't have gone to college in the first place.

It's a wise crack, that's all.
Actually, I didn't want to go to college my dad grounded me until I agreed to go. LOL. True story.

I know I didn't think she meant it in a non-jokey way or anything. I was just like because it was just so blunt and to the point. After all that turtles had to say, you just simply say "dance".

Shoot I've even considered it once upon a time to help pay off my student loans.lmao

I don't knock their hustle. But I ain't trying to catch dollar bills. I'm after a check, that trump check *nene leaks voice* Just kidding.

Not surprised in the least that Solange doesn't work for CD anymore.

I wonder if she realizes that just "plain ole hair", made her relevant.

You only told me 20 times that you had trouble singing without a monitor and granted it sucks not to be able to hear yourself but no one uses monitors at open mic. and the truth is your voice sounds like a cat that is being choked to death. Sorry dude but a monitor isn't going to fix that.

I'm watching on the news that father-daughter dances were banned at some school because a girl felt "excluded" and her mom complained.

I am so SICK of people thinking they are being discriminated against and making it shiddy shoddy poo poo for everyone else. If you can't get your big old daughter to accept that her daddy is dead or doesn't want her, making the rest of the school suffer is NOT the way to go. I'm sure she was not the only kid at school without a dad when there are all these single parents in this country.

If the kid sucked at art, would her parent ask to cancel Art After School too? This girl is going to grow up thinking there need to be policy changes to tailor her need wherever she goes. She can't do her job so does her boss need to fire everybody else with her? She can't wear a size 2 so should the stores stop selling it? Lord... people need to just have a seat, find a way to accept life and leave everybody else out of the process until they are good and ready to deal.

I don't always look at products from the "ethnic" haircare isle, but when I do, simple words like "Grow" are intentionally misspelled. Tragic.

I did something so stupid.

I drank coffee for the first time ever (actually it was half coffee and half hot chocolate) on an empty stomach, and I am so jittery right now. It's so freaky!

Never again, never again.

Got accepted into the University of Paris 10 for a Diploma program. It's not a BA but it's a step closer. I wanted to go to uni this year and now I have a chance.

The manager from America's Best said he is going to look up my application! Hopefully I made a good first impression as a customer
And I found out I have astigmatism (sp?) And its going to make my glasses extra expensive. Like 225 per pair. But if I get that job I won't care!
