Weird I know but today was the first day I have ever looked up Ellepixie's blog. Actually, I'm not a blog person but I love her YT videos and when she used to post a lot in 4a. But now it seems Izzy may have retired. Say it ain't so.

That's funny because the only time I can go is when I visit my godmother in Alexandria. I think they're building one (also 25 minutes away) in Virginia Beach but I never go out there.

I think its creepy when its really cold in the morning and I can see vapors coming out of the sewer manholes. It looks like a scene from a sewer monster movie or something.
Plus it's basically shoving it in my face that I'm breathing sewer vapor all day. Gross.

I'm for the "conscious" community to a certain extent. What really boils my noodles with them is this pseudo-intellectual discourse. You think you are deep with your pan-African ideals and intermittent scholarly terminology that you probably don't even understand, or "overstand". GTFOH.

Haha, I don't know how I feel about it! I used to love that show ( I'll still watch reruns here and there). It could be great or it could ruin everything!
I wonder if they could get Sean (Shawn?) or Angela to come back as well....or Feeny!

Yes Elle is taking a break for now. It doesn't mean she is gone forever but she has been at this for so many years. I can understand her wanting a break. I did shed a few tears tho her blog has been my resource for years.

Why did this elderly female at the polls ask me for my photo id like I didn't just hand her my voter registration card. I started to light it up but I calmed down, gave her the worst side eye eva & threw my license down on the table & said, "anything else? I have my BC & a utility bill too." Then I watched her ask no one else for photo id. I guess if your name is Becky Smith, you don't need photo id.
Bring everything you can to prove you are you. Bring you're wife, bring your kids because they playing bald head reindeer games at the polls.

It was all the way on point. 
I love them. The closest one to me is 25 minutes away. I go to one when I visit my sis Alexandria VA. Her's is 5 minutes from away.
