Yeah I heard someone telling his wife on the phone he should just shoot himself in the head now. I'm like go on...one less idiot walking to earth that wiould kill himself permanently over something so temporary. At least wait 2 months until he orders for all republicans to be shot dead in the street, right? Cause that's what's going to happen....

Sis, get out of my head! I have been telling people this! Christie will run in 2016. Paul Ryan was never the first pick, but he is what Romeny got bc Christie was not going to throw his chances away. I don't know if he can run again for NJ Gov and maybe he should not because he would need to compromise on core policies. NJEA is pissed with him and I would not be surprised if they garnered labor against him if he chose to run again.

Nope, Cory ain't running. He does not have a shot until he is married and a father - while I think that people who disqualify him based on this are shortsighted, it will happen. The image of President has always been linked to ones role in the household (and each of us could point to stereotypes floated about Hillary due to this). More importantly, what he has done in Newark, increasing charter schools, has made education suspicious of his true intentions. Newark still does not have control of its school district - it is still managed at the state level. Also, he will have to answer the economic growth question, not just on crime (which has gone down, no doubt), due to Newark still being in the Enterprise Zone (lower business tax). While I don't agree with him on everything, he needs time to fully implement policies that can be solidly linked to outcomes - outside of his initiatives on crime.
BUT the biggest reason why he will not run in 2016 is Hillary Rodham Clinton.Yes ma''am, I am calling it right now!

Christie is out of shape & unhealthy. He can barely breathe sometimes. Bill had to lose weight because of his health recently. He talked about it on 60 min or one of the other news shows.
C.Booker is probably not going to run for another decade or so. Kaseem Reed may take on the next VP opportunity first. Look at us thinking about the next 4 years. I'm going to stop & hold on to what we got.
