I read your other post about gaming..your family seems like they are a riot. I know I would love hanging out at your house! I just bought my husband some new video games for the PS3..birthday gifts! I'm going to be playing with him and I can't wait to take out a boozooka and blow his head clean off his dayum shoulders...so I can yell.. "YOU JUST GOT OWNED BEEEAAATCH!" Given, we will have to play when our son is in bed..can't use that language around him..LOL!

I've never heard of Mirena before so I looked it up and gurl...goodness bless you because I damn near passed out when I saw what it is...I mean I literally shivered because the first pic that popped up is of it inside the body...shivers again. I'm skurred!
Lol! I know huh, we live all the way in WA, so next time (if ever) you are around, you should come by to hang out. Right now the game of choice is Battlefield 3. So I watched all of the episodes of TOG (like an obsessed fiend), had me dying. Their word is "smoove". Like "you got smooved out!", or "oooohhh, smoooooove!" Even the kids say it. It's kray.

As far as the Mirena, I had it after my first son, had it taken out to have the second, and had another put right back in after I had him. I did the depo shot (gained a bunch of weight and had irreg periods, which is birth control in itself), tried the pill (it made me sick to no end, so I missed days which is how my oldest got here). With the Mirena, I don't get sick, don't have to remember to take pills or get a shot, and my periods are pretty non existent, except for every blue moon I get a really light one. I used to have them really bad, severe cramps, headaches. But the last 9 years with my new best friend have been wonderful.

These presidential debates are such a joke. Everybody is a mess. Are we really going to end up choosing the lesser of the evils?

So how many people are near or on the cycle up in here? Cuz I think I've seen at least 2-3 other references to it. Are we syncing up in this piece?

I know, I know. There are tons of women here. Of course we will overlap our cycles... but I still want some research done on this
Lol, does e-syncing happen? That would be crazy...

Yesterday my hormonal ass stayed locked in the bedroom for most of the day. SMH.

Long story short, DH said something that on a normal day would just make me roll my eyes and then we'd proceed to have a healthy debate. So why did I get all butthurt?! LOL. I started tearing up and then I stormed out of the living room. Went to our bedroom and locked the door so he couldn't get in. He tried several times. My stubborn and immature self just ignored him.

He is used to my monthly freak outs so he knew to just wait it out. Lol. I stayed in there for most of the day. Snuck out to get some lunch while DH was playing outside with the Kid. Snuck out again while they were grocery shopping.

But then dinner time came. He knows my defenses go down when I'm hungry. So he chose that time to try to get me to open the door again. Damn, he knows me too well.

I accepted his apology (that logically he didn't have to give, but he knew better than to try to get out of it) and then he fixed dinner. Problem solved. For now.

Almost finished with "The Fault in Our Stars". It's super good! Kind of overly teenager-y dramatic but in a way it kind of has the right to be. It definitely has some deep passages that made me think.

I'd recommend it to anyone who likes young adult!

You are so lucky to not have periods. I also have Mirena and I still get them! This is my 5th year so I am getting it removed within the next month or so.
My periods are short and light (usually don't last for more than 3 days) but for 2 weeks before it starts, I go H.A.M. And I get terrible cramps. Not as bad as before, but still not fun. So, I'm debating on whether or not I want to have a new Mirena inserted. I love the convenience of it... but the side-effects that I have experienced... No bueno!

Ahhhh! I just got mine in the mail a day or so ago. I pre-ordered it because I wanted a signed copy. Lol. I love John Green! I need to start reading it, but I'm being lazy. Have you read "Looking for Alaska"?
His writing style stays consistant throughout his novels, I think. Kind of overly-dramatic but makes you think. I also have "Will Grayson Will Grayson" but haven't started it.

No, this is the first book I have ever read by him. (Although I do own "Looking for Alaska" I just never got around to it, shame on me!). However, one of my good friends has already finished reading her copy of "The Fault in our Stars" and she couldn't stop gushing over it. Sooooo, I gave it a try. Really good so far!

We'll have to talk about it once we both finish reading!

I Cannot find my camebak to save my life. (get a camelbak water bottle if you need help drinking water cause trust meh they're all I buy bc I drink water like cray cray using them) I invested in they're new groove which has a filter in it (not that it matters cause I cant tell the difference between toilet water and Fiji) but I can't find it. I'm so upset and thirsty.
