I tend to agree. What Parker said was similar to if not exactly the same tearing down of African American men when they are different from the mainstream. I remember when RG3 was drafted and his behavior during the Heisman ceremony & he's a great guy. I don't care if he's a republican snowboarder who hunts ducks & dates Carrie Underwood. He's still an African American Male who will, if he hasn't already, experience the good & bad of what being "black in America" means. His being down for the cause is his business not Rob's. I'm surprised at this particular journalist because he's usually not that obnoxious. Stephen A. Smith on the other hand usually is. But on this day, the two switched roles. I hope Rob doesn't lose his job. This was a brain fart on his part imo

I completely disagree with where the author is taking this topic. Almost all of those who commit these mass murders are also White. Does that mean we need to dig deep into the culture & development of young White males? There's Correlation & then there's Causality.

Women also commit terrible crimes against humanity. Mothers have drowned their babies, a nanny stabbed some children to death, one even reported her child missing after murdering him/her (I don't remember the gender of the child). I could go on...

I believe there are people in our society who are inherently malicious & in some cases are enabled to commit vicious acts.

At this point my concern is making it harder for anyone, make or female, to access weapons & kill anyone, especially children. I don't have a desire to know why ppl kill. I don't think it will bring about a solution to ponder that.

I am having a fabulous fabulous fabulous hair day and I have no where to go. I spent all of 5 minutes on it and it looks great ( in my humble opinion, LoL)

And of course the next time I'm invited to some fancy shmacy event or a date or wedding or something I'll spend an hour on it and it'll look like a bird's nest. That's what happened last time!

I had the freakiest dream last night, scared the **** out of me. there was a christian denomination I wont name suddenly deciding to take over america by burning all nonmembers at the steak. for some reason my mom was still alive, and in 2008 era health, but I was still pregnant, and the two of us are running around the city together desprately trying not to be caught. meanwhile im desprately trying to get a hold of papi, but cell phones arent working. I go into labor, so my mom insists on taking me to the hospital. before we go in papi appears out of nowhere with the rest of my family crammed into his ford explorer. he says hes taking us to canada where we'll be safe. the dream ends with papi driving us north, windows open and I hear gun shots, screaming, and I smell smoke. I woke up in a cold sweat, terrified and confused, with the baby kicking up a storm.

first off I have no idea where the hell THAT came from, I wasnt thinking about anything like that last night. I watched the polar express for gods sake.

secomdly I hate dreams with momma in them. in the dreams shes always her healthy old self, and they always feel super real. so when I wake up, im always confused for like 10 minutes, before I remember her 3 years of illness and that shes gone. the realization always crushes me all over again

I've used it but I think the angel was a turn off. I also got it at the wnhs for a lower price. Its good but its nothing spectacular

I bought a crossover SUV today. I'm so thrilled. I've been wanting one for awhile but they are too expensive new and I'm afraid of used because of prior bad experiences. Anyway this one only has 24,000 miles and the price was reasonable. And the bank financed me at 2.8%

I finally washed my hair. detangling was much easier than expected, with very little shedding. but of course I am pregnant, so thats probably why. did bantu knots. I wish knot outs looked as good as when I was transitioning . it doesnt look bad, just frizzy ends.

im now at shoulder length in the back, but chin length in the front. and the curls when wet are gorgeous, kind of wish i'd mastered a wng. oh well ill give it another shot when the weather is warm. in the meantime ill stick with my 1940s looking rolls as a protective style this winter, its working awesome.

I have more than one friend who gets [mostly beauty] information off social media (internet, youtube, twitta) then asks me about it, I say ive tried it and give my thoughts and they argue with me because the internet said differently. Even though ive TRIED it. I hate them all.

Or people who ask me questions then question and doubt my answer, GO AWAY.

"what can I use as a nice masque on my face" --honey is awesome. "Honey? i dont know, seems sticky" --it is but it rinses off easily. "I dont know" .. she never tried it, she was "scared".. of WHAT?
if it dissolves in your TEA easily why wont it rinse off easily?

I had one who kept complaining that her hair was dry, but wouldnt upgrade from aussie moist as her rinse out and vo5 as her leave in [which clearly werent working] because "she has too much hair" to buy the more expensive products I was recommending.. well stay brittle then.

Another hits me up with foolishness on a regular basis. This last time she hennad her hair, I said mix it with HOT tea, some honey and oils.. but "all the websites said cold water for dye release" .. Me; i always use hot, the dye releases .. days later she hits me up mad cause her henna mix sucked, she used cold water anyway. *SLAP*

Brittle hair went so far as to tell another friend "she thinks she knows everything" well apparently so do you, cause you keep asking me things like my name is Google. Why present your issues to me if you dont want me to give my thoughts? If you want to feel like you "learned" yourself dont ask at all, just try it.. thats what I do! smh.

Meanwhile my hair is luxurious and my skin is clear and theirs, is still struggling.
