wow! i got lots of growth from my 3 months of senagalese twists. started with hardly any hair to pinch since i had the bright idea to shave my head then want twists
my take down was short/easy and i didn't lose much hair. hair saturated with condish really makes a difference!
now i'm back to being hair lazy...sighz. i don't feel like doing a thang to my hair. i started to twists my hair. did 2, yeah a whopping 2 twists and said naw! didn't even co-wash this morning. hopped out of bed, showered, dressed, left out the door!

Ok. I have a question. I've had my mirena for 3 yrs. I've had no side effects (best BC for me ever--low dose, I'm not crazy or overemotional and no YI like clockwork). Now, I think I want to remove it. I'm no longer in an LTR and I'm not having unsafe nookie with NOBODY. Should I take it out? I kinda miss my period. Also, I just want to be hormone free unless I have to be with it. What do y'all think?

I don't know a lot about mirena but if it helps with anything other than preventing pregnancy I'd stay on. I'm on a low dose pill and have been for a long long time. My doctor suggested I get on because I have irregular and missed cycles and God awful cramps. I have tried to get off a few times over the years because i would like to be hormone free but all the same issues come back.

I went on BC solely for BC and nothing more. My skin is well behaved even pre-mirena, I can avoid having cramps if I avoid eating loads of salt pre period and I don't have insane cramps anyway, and my dot was normal (not to heavy).

I was never on an iud but I could never get the right dosage for my BC. I tried three different types of pills & the bootleg patch. They all gave me problems. Now I roll with condoms. As long as no children show up dh & I are good. I also have an ovulation app where I record my cycle. Its workers for the last year. So I say take the mirena out if you want. But consult your
OBGYN first.

My friend called me crying because boss is blocking her from getting a job doing what she wants to. Her contract is up at the end of this month but there is a noncompete clause that you can't work certain places for a year after you quit or get fired. But it isn't the same job that she is doing here. She has applied for that kind of position here and they wouldn't hire her. BTW they haven't offered her more money to renew. Anyway, she is bawling about how she has busted her butt for them while not writing down the extra hours and this is the thanks she gets. I feel bad for her. I know cried over work stuff when I was in my early 20s getting screwed over. But now I'm older I expect corporate America to screw me. I look out for numero uno and I don't do jack for free because I know they will write a pink slip in a minute and think nothing of how people are going to pay their bills and feed their kids. And the amount some companies ask retirees to pay for health insurance is criminal. One man told me his premium was $700 a month. I asked "How do they expect you to pay that?" he said "They don't".

I dont want to go to this funeral.
I'm telling you I might just lose it. It wasnt reality until a few minutes ago and I know I dont want to see him laying there.
I want to keep closing my eyes and see him smiling saying good morning to me whenever he saw me.
Life isnt fair but I guess it wouldnt be a complete circle without death

If her contract is up and the company chooses to not renew, then the noncompete clause doesn't apply. She's not quitting and she wasn't fired. The company chose not to renew the contract..in which case clause in nullified. It would be different if they wanted to extend and SHE decided not to renew...that would effectively be quitting and the clause would apply. I'd have an attorney review it and go ahead and apply for whatever job I wanted.
