I know, right now im pumping because shes so tiny, the doctors want her to gain weight. but her pediatritian promises as soon as shes good and fat, she gonna help me with the baby latch problems so I can just straight breastfeed. good thing, because I really cant afford the pump, one of the hospital nurses felt sorry for me and got a friend to loan me one for free

my fever broke today, I still feel like hell but no fever.

I finally got pictures of michelle with her eyes open

wow they liked me at wendys. remember when the hypermesis started back in june I had to stop working? the store manager and me was kinda buddy-buddy so he always said he'd hold my job for me for when I felt better. unfortunately he got fired last month, so I figure thats the end of that.

welp I never got my w-2 so I just called the store to find out what to do. before I said my name, the new store manager recognized me by voice, id helped him out at another store once. he asked what happened and I explained about the hypermesis. he said if I want im welcome to come right back to my old schedule when I feel up to it. im like "really?" and he says "of course! girl, there are managers spread all over maryland who hear your name and would take you in a heartbeat. I think you are the only employee to come in conversations regularly. you were loved".

now towards the end even before I was pregnant, I kept getting reprimanded, I could just no longer deal with the customers. so I dont know if id want to go back, but damn if that wasnt a ego boost.

Why do people always assume I dislike my natural hair texture? I find it so offensive.

"Wow, your hair is so curly. I bet you hate it!"

And whenever I tell them that I do, in fact, like my hair, they just ignore it. They continue with, "Well we always want what we don't have. I bet you wish your hair was straight!"

WERE YOU NOT LISTENING???

Straight hair is boring. Esp if your hair isn't already naturally straight. Why fight what your hair does naturally? I liked when I had a perm though. But it was never bone straight. When it was it started breaking because it needed so much care and I didn't know what to do. I used to get a relaxer every 4-6 months. And my hair was pretty long, but when I started processing it ( going to the shop) more it got bad.
Lucky for me though, I didn't get a perm til I was 10 and it was only cuz my hair was SO DENSE and growing so long I didn't know what to do with it. If I wouldve had access to the internet and knew about natural hair care like you ladies I would have hair ALL down my back
Anyway, back to the point. Relaxed hair is boring lol.

How can I say goodbye P.L.G.

Btw your little girl is beautiful!

When I had latching issues all they told me was to make sure her mouth was around not just the nipple, but the areola (darker part around the nip) and if I was already engorged to pump a little to get it down and kind of pinch the areola to make it smaller so her mouth could fit better. After that it was a wrap! I wish you the best of luck. Breastfeeding is awesome, and cheap!

thank you !!

did ya'll know in spanish speaking countries they actually have perfume for babies? I didnt, papi mama brought some for the baby, it smells good, like baby powder but stronger and sweeter. I kinda wanna use some for myself!

you know whats frustrating? I spent so much time puking this year, none of my clothes fit. turns out everything I own appeared to still fit when I had the pregnant belly, but without it my shirts hang wierd, and my pants fall down. I have no idea what size I wear anymore.

I have called and texted twice since then and have not gotten a response even though I asked to be called back, or a reply to any of my messages.

He is never coming back to apologize, he will never miss me, and the 9 years I gave him meant nothing to him and I was discarded as if I was rotting garbage. I don't understand how you can be with anyone for that length of time and then have them not exist in your life. Not even touching the fact of sleeping around or switching bed partners and girlfriends in a few days. How can anyone be so heartless and cruel.

It doesn't hurt as much as it did before but I'm still upset that he is so happy that he can ignore me like stuff didn't happen the way they did. I guess cheaters and side pieces do prosper. I'm on the wrong team.
I'm sorry to hear ur going thru this. I can relate. It has left me wondering too if I will ever win when it seems like the people who care the least about others and only care about themselves r the ones who keep winning. I wish I had it in me to be like that too, but I just can't. I guess I will stay on the losing side as well

I'm thinking I may need to shampoo my hair. Either that or my porosity has reached an all new level of low. I tried to put in my Giovanni leave in and I had to end up squeezing it in my hair for it to absorb.....

Finally watched the Beyonce Superbowl show in it's entirety. I want Kelly Rowland's legs. And abs. And arms. Just her whole body will do nicely, thank you.

My mom had a stroke back in October and I'm taking care of her with my sisters. my boyfriend was helping a lot at first, but then my mom went nuts and started saying wild ish (threatening to call the police on me and him, saying he was a drug dealer, that I was a b**** and a h** all out of nowhere...how she never wanted to see me again and how she wanted to put a hit out on my bf, how she hoped someone would put a bullet through his head.....it was AWFUL).

It REALLY hurt me because my mom and I have always had a very close relationship and she was like my best friend. Since then things have gone down hill. My bf and I have been through SO much together....now we had a talk last night...and he wants to marry me...honestly I love him, but I dont know what it feels like to be "in love". Because of issues with my dad Ive detatched myself from the emotion a bit for survival purposes. My bf however.....is very much in love with me and wants to marry me and the whole thing. Unfortunately, he knows that he loves me or is more "in love" with me than I am to him. And it's not him...it's just that Im young and I dont know if I want to settle down so soon. He did his stuff and had his fun in HS....(he was a football player in HS and in college)...me? Not so much I was sheltered.

Last night we were talking and he said that when we had children he didn't want our kids to be around my mom. I was like "Whoa....whatchu mean?" He has a valid point....but the way my mom has been acting since the stroke is not indicative of who she really is. My mom was an EXCELLENT mother prior to all of this. My mom hates my bf and my bf hates my mom....It puts so much stress on me because my mom is getting well and I DO want her in my life...but I want him in mine as well.

My mom told me that she never wanted to see him again...and he said the same....both have said that if they see each other it will be a problem. This is SO unfair to me because its like neither of them care how I feel!!!

just gave michelle her first bath...she hated it, but it needed to be done because she had started to smell like a foot. she screamed and cried, but when we finished I playes bruno mars just the way you are, on youtube. she loves that song, so shes calm now.

my original plan was to only use natural bath & body products for her, but yesterday a bunch of papi's relatives showed up with a ton of johnson & johnson stuff, so I guess ill just use that untill its finished and then promptly switch to cara b naturally. but I do loooooove how the johnson baby lotion smells. papi mama is so sweet, dont speak a word of english but keeps trying to talk to me and teach me about baby care. she keeps making me drink hot chocolate, apparently it helps with breastmilk production? I dont know but I havent had water in days, everytime im thirsty she hands me another cup of the stuff. salvadorean hot chocolate is goood, nutty tasting.

I wish people would stop commenting on michelle skin color. thats all im getting is "shes so bright and pretty!!" I keep explaining most black babies are born fairly light, but its falling on deaf ears. makes me worry, are people still gonna think shes pretty in a few months when she has brown skin? shes mixed, so she wont be medium brown like me, but she will still be some shade of brown with some type of curly hair.

my cousins are biracial (white and black) and they all have 4a hair and skin ranging from what is considered light to medium brown.

my nephew is mixed and he has red straight hair and pale white skin.

Genetics are weird lol
