Default Do you have "bangs"?

I notice some naturals on YT, and the front of their hair doesn't cling close to the forehead, or it grows straight up. It could be the way the style, but mine grows like bangs. Do you have natural bangs? Does this even exist? I know for sure, that I DON"T have a natural part in my hair...i have NONE. too curly it all meshes together, lol

I sort of do.
My hair is around 8-9 inches depending on the spot. And the front of my hair, the bang area, is actually an inch longer than the back. Lol! But I also get a lot more shrinkage in the front than the back so it *looks* like the back is longer. Which makes it seem like I have bangs.

It's really weird but I've learned to work with it. At the length I'm at, I can't just wear the front without making some sort of part though. Usually a side part. Otherwise, I'd look like a mop.

I always part of the side too.

My hair on top is more of an "s" curl pattern so it lays down but I only assume its cause its long. Im sure if it were short it would stick up which is very cute for most hair styles i try to wear but cant since my hair lacks body

Ditto this. Looser curls there for mean means it flops down (unless it's fully shrunken). I like it, except when I have freshly done twists because I seal with thick creams or oils and I usually will have a spotty forehead the next morning. But one application of Multani Mitti and it's cleared right up.

Yep, I keep the hair in front trimmed just above my eyebrows. I tried letting it grow longer but it was annoying me.

Me too, I've tried so hard to get past the awkward growing stage and I just COULDN'T HANDLE IT.

I love my bangs! I tried growing it out a few years ago but didn't like it as I personally don't like my forehead showing, so I had it trimmed to sit on my eyebrows. I think they can look very cute!

Yup, I have natural bangs. Still debating on whether I should cut them or let them grow out...

Yep. I've hated my bangs for years. I just got a Deva cut that makes them much more manageable though.

my "bang" area is one of the looser parts of my hair. Stretched out, they are a little above my eyebrows, but shrunken, they fall .5" down on to forehead.
I don't like when my forehead shows either. When I was relaxed, I had bangs that were eyebrow length.

Does it look weird when 4a hair has bangs? Like eyebrow length unstretched? I might keep my bangs trimmed when they get that long

I have bangs. I unintentionally cut my hair that way when I trimmed it. However my bangs are not 4a. They are a loose s curl. They are also about eyebrow length un-stretched. I'm not sure if I have a widow's peak. I usually style my hair so that it is a little fuller on the right.

Kinda, but it still will stay up if I let it. Or it'll stay down if I let it! Rebel is funny that way.

I have natural bangs which I don't like.
They flop forward, they are a very loose wave instead of curls like the rest of my hair.
They make my forehead sweat so then they get frizzy....we just don't get along. I pin them back most if the time.

Yes I do. They hang there no matter what so I usually pin them to the side and make them side bangs. They've gotten long enough that they hang in my eyes when wet and tickle my eyelashes when dry. Hence the pinning them away.

Oh sheesh, y'all. 'Tis my phone!
