Wow Naturalista, your hair looks awesome! I just swore off gels this past weekend after a major fail using KBB hold it up gel. But u have inspired me to try the CR's gelly. I already love some of her other products so hopefully this will be a hit for me too. Thanks for sharing. Fabulous, just fabulous!

I'd been using the gelly on top of the aloe whipped gel and it was too much moisture for the spring and left me with mushy hair (I think this would be an EXCELLENT combo in the fall winter though). So today I tried it with the Oyin honey dew after glacing at your review yesterday (I just realized you used Oyin HH) and this is PERFECT!!!! I'd been trying to figure out what leavein would give me moisture but not TOO much moisture and this was the perfect combo for spring/summer hair.
I've been experimenting with the refresher and IMO, it makes a really good light weight leave-in under the gelly also. It's very thick and IMO it's a bit too thick to be a refresher.
The aloe whipped butter is very nice also, but a bit heavy for the spring/summer so I'll have to whip this out later when the weather breaks or when I'm haing moisture issues. If you have issues with dry hair but need a product that acts like a gel w/o the dryness then I'd say check this product out.

I have this, the scent is very strong probably due to the ayurveda herbs ( bringaraj herbs, brahmi) and for me lingered all day - not in a good way. I think I will revisit and use it to massage my scalp the night before I wash as an oil pre poo. I love oils but would not re-purchase this. But I love the aloe whipped gel and the almond jai twisting butter

I use and the code earlier today and it worked.
Shipping is $8 though. So one item, the aloe whipped gel stuff, cost $20 even with the discount. It's worth it though since I got it for my mom.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Moisture Butter and the Twisting Butter.
I have the Almond Jai TButter and really like it. I just would love a comparison as to what the moisturizer does that's so different.
TIA

Maybe try the curl love moisture milk. It's a lightweight moisturizer even though the texture is thick to me. It feels really nice going on but it wasn't enough moisture for my thirsty hair. So I use the almond jai twisting butter for my wash n goes with great results, soft and defined curls. Hope that helps.

I use it because it claims to be good for removing hard water mineral buildup. I like it but I definitely need a conditioner after cuz my hair feels squeaky clean and I get major tangles. It kinda reminds me of kinky curly's poo and you only need a little bit.
