Yes, it's official. That Almond Jai twisting butter is wonderful.

My hair is still soft, not to mention my hair was buttery soft the first 3-4 days. This is day six and I would go for another week just to test it (see if it could be on that CTDG level), but my scalp is starting to "speak".

In case anyone was wondering, the pasty scent was not strong once applied, and the vanilla-ness was stronger once it dried, IMO. Those first three days I caught whiffs of vanilla whenever I moved my head.

I'm loving the Almond Jai twisting butter & was thinking about ordering her gel, Curl Maker, when I reorder. I've watched some YT reviews but couldn't find any from ladies with coarse 4a. Has anybody tried it/liked it?

I need to re-up on some of that Algae deep conditioning mask. That stuff is amazing and I must say, it tops the Curl Rehab as a DC for me. I can safely say that after having finished the jar.

I read all the other pages and saw both Shawny's & Naturalista's pics. Was jus wondering about any other NC ladies. Thanks tho CK.

I've uses it and like it but I want to use it a bit more before I offer up a review or details. It is a soft hold creme gel for me....I'm trying to determine how it stacks up to other products. I'll go into details in a bit

Yeah that algae deep conditioner is fabulous. It leaves my hair feeling like silk even if I wait till the morning to put on any other products. I'm thinking about trying it as a leave in too.

Yep same here. Idk if I'd leave it in though. But it just melts into my hair like nothing else I've used. I bet if I used the terressentials to wash and then used this dc my hair would be amazing. I should re up on that mud wash.

Chi, it has coconut oil in the first 5 ingredients. I recall you saying your hair is rather sensitive to that oil. Not sure if you're avoiding it in your rinse outs or dc's. If you haven't tried it though, I still think it's worth trying.

Yeah from the reviews it seems that the ladies who love it have a finer texture than mine. Im doing more WNGs since it so warm & Ecostyler makes em last longer than any other gels that I have tried (Im lazy). I like the ease of styling once weekly with it but that protein makes my hair a little dry if I use it repetitively. Thanks for the feedback.

I am not impress with the jai twisting butter. This just my experience: 1) under Eco pink it flakes. 2) It ok on wet hair. 3) Not impress on dry hair. I will admit that my hair is very soft. For me, the butter did moisturize my hair. Will not repurchase. Probably better of with bask buttercream and gel combine together.

CK, my hair doesn't like coconut oil either but this dc makes my curls feel lovely. U should definitely check it out.

I've been hesitant to leave it in cuz of the coconut oil but I may still try it when I have no where to go.

I have tried the gel a couple of times but I don't really like it. It did dry soft but I didn't like how my curls looked. I don't know how to describe it but I haven't liked any gel so far so I'm not surprised.

I've tried it. Its a nice pomade...they call it a balm but when I think balm it is in a tube or bottle that can be squeezed. This is semi-hard. I didn't stick with it long enough to notice any growth but overall it isn't bad. I doubt I will order it again, only because I like Dax grease lol
