Noo no no no !!! Your hair is a 3b-3c texture! 4a curls are the circumference on a COFFEE STRAW!!

Okay, I noticed that some people are giving the wrong hair type out. Let's start with the 3's
3a - the circumference of a side walk chalk or a banana
3b- a tighter curl, the circumference of a child's marker
3c- tight ringlets, the circumference of a PEN ! (a pen fits inside of the curl)
4a- quite a bit of shrinkage, very pretty. The circumference of a COFFEE STRAW !!!
Hope I helped clear a few mistakes up

Wait - I was told that I have 4a/4b hair. But the curls are a bit bigger than a coffee straw. I have seen a lot of different typing systems and 3c/4a seem to have the biggest discrepancies.
It's really confusing to me.
But if you're right then my hair is 4a on the crown and 3c in the back and at the sides?
here's my hair dry - no product

You look like a 3b-3b ! See the bigger , market sized curls? And the smaller, more pen sized ones? Beautiful curls

Thanks!
I guess I don't have an objective perspective on my own hair. It always helps if someone with experience looks at it. :-)

Lol yeah. It gets confusing sometimes. I posted the pics on two other hair sites and was told that it was mostly 4A. Then, had some who said it was 4A with a slight bit of 3C near the nape.

Yeah, slash/3C I think. Some curls look larger than a crochet needle. Lovely head of hair you've got yourself there!

My hair type?
Hi all! I was previously typed as a 3 something (due to product manipulation), but Im pretty sure I'm a 4 something. I believe i'm a 4a. What do you all think? The first pic is with gel. The second pic is wet hair no product and the 3rd is dry no product...big difference. Thanks in advance.

Love that third photo. Looks like I could fit the tip of my pinky into your curls, so 3c/4a mebbe?

Hey everyone!! I'm brand new to NC, I've been lurking a little and finally decided to join the party.

I'm not exactly sure about my hair type. I think I am a 3c in the front and a 4a in the back but I took a picture recently (with conditioner) that made me look like I'm 4a all over.
I appreciate any help I can get

I know I've got 4a in here, but I think other types are creepin'.
So let me apologize first off by saying, this is some slept on post partying hair so i know it's not the best. I've attached a few photos. I'm definitely confused on what type I am though and how to best care for it.
Any and all help is appreciated.
When I length check it's at just past my shoulders, touches my back/collar bone.
Photos have product in them. 1st is me this afternoon after being slept on.
other two from last night. Curl defining cream and clumped with a modified denman.
Cheers,
A

Yousofancy,
are you still transitioning? Because the ends of your hair look super straight. I kinda looks like heat damage to me. The roots seem to have a different texture too.
I'd say 4a/4b from your pictures.
