Default Let's Jam Custard

Anybody try this yet? Saw some reviews on Youtube...it's also CG friendly.

Yes indeed! And I really like it! The slip is great and my curls are happy.

I like it too. It does have a nice slip like the poster above stated. Left my hair soft and defined with no crunch. Comparable to Hairveda's whipped jelly imo. Smell is candy sweet but it's pleasant enough.

Just started a post on this topic on the 3C boards, wished I saw this thread first. Saw a review by Mahoganycurls on YouTube, so I'm sorta interested in trying it. Sounds like its getting good reviews thus far.

I tried it. I like it because:

Its slip makes it easy to apply. I've tried many storebought creams and gels and NONE of them have slip except THIS and KCCC.

My hair doesn't look dull.

I'll get more than one day hair out of it.

These 3 things are really all I ask out of a styler. I don't go gaga over scent, color, ability to layer it with a million different things, getting 30-day hair, etc.

I used it alone, no leave in, and sprayed each piece of hair with water before I applied it and brushed with my Denman.

I'd buy it again

I liked it okay.. I wasn't nuts about the smell but yall know I don't even like the way KCCC smells (so I'm not the norm around here).

I felt it was slightly greasy..which I guess I wasn't crazy about...but man the hair ends up being very soft and smooth after using this stuff. It works those baby hairs rather nicely! If a person has super dry hair.. I bet this would be great for them!

I got mine at Rite Aid but I've seen it at Walmart too.

Is this stuff with the regular hair products or with the "ethnic hair care"?

Just tried this today. I really like it. It is greasy, like Marah said which I don't really like, but I like how soft my hair is. Leave ins, stylers and gels always leave my hair a little hard feeling. This doesn't do that. I THINK I can deal with the greasiness and keep using this. We'll see...

I bought the last tub of this in my local Walgreens today. Impulse buy considering I have plenty of hair stuff to last me a good while.

The claims are making me laugh and laugh...here they are:

*3x more conditioned hair!
**America's #1 conditioning gel brand!

*vs. untreated hair

**IRI unit sales data for ethnic conditioning gels sold in food, drug, and major discount retailers--excluding WalMart--calendar year 2010

Hmm, we'll see how this works out

It's like the Pantene commercials. They note that their shampoo AND conditioner are better than the leading shampoo alone.

I wanna try this but I haven't found it yet. Maybe I'll look in walmart or walgreens then.

I saw Mahogany's review as well as a few others. Im going to try it because it is cg although I dont do wash and gos. I will test it on twist out. I was a little disappointed in how much product MC had to use but she says it dries quickly which would be awesome. Im drooling over how she can use it without leave in b/c every time I try to skip leave in it is an epic fail. I cant do only oil like some people do. I tried just activator gel once and uh.... No.

I also used it without anything else and it worked well. I used it for a week for wng's and I liked it. But, it did not dry quickly at all for me. As a matter of fact, gel excluded since I don't use gel and I don't know how it dries, this took longer to dry than any type of other leave in or styler I've tried.
