May Hits and Misses
Bring on the May hits and misses!
Hit: DIY Hair Removal with Honey & Sugar [Tutorial: D.I.Y Hair Removal Wax With Honey and Sugar]
I made it with white sugar and it worked perfectly to remove the hair from my upper lip. I love that it's inexpensive, natural and doesn't irritate my skin. This method is definitely a keeper.

Hit: From the WNHS...
Shea Radiance Moisturizing Hair Milk
Glad I got two bottles. It doesn't spray in a mist, which is a bummer, but I'm not going to use it as a daily mist. I'm using it as a leave-in, underneath a butter for twisting.
I saturated large sections with the milk, and separated into smaller sections to twist with a butter.
My hair it. I will purchase more.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the procedure for sugaring? Do you have to rip it off as hard/fast as traditional waxes? I'm curious about sugaring too because I heard it's easier and better than regular waxing.

I followed the procedure in the video-- prepare the sugar wax, let cool for 1 m mins, apply to cleansed skin, place fabric strips over sugar wax, press fabric strip into wax, let sit for a second and slowly pull off fabric strip/wax combo. After that rinsed my face and moisturized.

Miss: Trying to use Taliah Waajid's Mist Bodifier. As a leave-in under gel. Hardly any clumping.
Will just stick to diluting this thick stuff with water and using it as a next day hair refresher. What a funny product.
Hit: Bulk conditioner purchases.

My hair is almost exactly the same! My curls are loosened and thinner when wet and when my hair is completely dry it looks almost the same besides the fact that it's drier than average and I have less tightly curled hair. If you have a remedy for this I would love to hear it!

Scissors lol, Naw my porosity is shot which accounts for the crazy look when its it wet, its sucking up ALL the water lol. But I cut everything that wasn't matching up to the rest of my texture already.

That's how I use mine. It's a PITA to use undiluted!

Yep. This is definitely a keeper. My hair feels really good today. I used QB CTDG and AOHC to moisturize last night and this morning I refreshed with water and Bask silk and honey latte.
Also, the warm weather is a hit for my hair. I almost don't want to put it away.

Miss: Thinking water and coconut oil is enough to keep my "lazy, off days" hair moisturize!! When I tell you after 2 days of doing this.... My hair felt like sticks, hay, and AAAAAALLLL my curls were separated, and just wrong. I had to reach for my life saver conditioner (Aussie) And do a cowash/condition. My hair is great now, but that was a MESS!! People who can just spritz and apply a little oil are LUCKY!!! LoL!
Miss: Africa's Best Herbal Oil. The product is good, but it foams on top of water based products, kinda builds up, and irritated my eczema. Plus I STILL can't tolerate that baby oil scent. If they made it unscented it would be a win.

Misses:
Original Moxie
Get Clean
Deep Quench
Oasis Gel
None of these moisturized my hair. Glad I got samples
Shea Radiance Maximium Moisture condish. Not enough slip and detangling properties. I detangle with my deep conditioner. Absolutely no moisture for my hair. Taking it back to the HFS.
