Komaza Care...Stinky Stuff

They have a new growth aid available on their site. Looks like they've redesigned the site as well. Anyway, here's the deets on the stinky stuff.
Ingredients
I have to be honest: The name "Stinky Stuff" puts me off a bit because I can't get down with the funk. HOWEVER, I'm curious about this product. BUT for $45 I shall watch by the sidelines until I have enough disposable income to try this and not be hurtin.

LMAO!!!
I feel you tho.
Lol! I googled it. Coconut endosperm is coconut water. These hair companies have to be more taxonomically compliant or whatever with their ingredient lists. Hence the weird names.

Here's my thing. With any type of growth aide you need to use it for at least 3 months to see a good amount of growth.
This bottle is 4ozs , how long should this 4ozs last because I dont see $45 as a bad price, if it lasts me 3 months..... if it only lasts a month with daily use , then thats the problem.
ETA: Also I noticed yesterday that this line is ideal for those who are transitioning, heat styling, or chemically processing.
I dont do any of those.

Interesting. Great concept though. I commend them for stepping a little deeper into the chemistry field past the typical oils and butter mixes. But it's a thin line between "natural" products and "chemically ambiguous products" for the average consumer. What interests me is if their targeted niche will buy the concept of such an "unnatural term" in their ingredients.
But still they are setting a trend and again I commend them for that.

I'm intrigued. My hair grows SO slow at the crown...I may try this, just for kicks.

I have been trying to grow my crown back for 2 years. I have made progress but it's still very, very thin. Hence, I have purchased the Stinky Stuff. I will let you guys know how it works. I will take starting pics.

I got my Stinky Stuff today. A YouTuber mentioned that the label doesn't include the ingredient "Biotinyl-GHK", which is supposed to be in the product and is the key ingredient.
Now, Komaza knows this (it's a "mistake")...they offered the YouTuber 200 Komaza points. Okay. I don't want/need 200 Komaza points, but it would have been nice for them to include a note, acknowledging that they have been made aware that the ingredient is missing from the label, and that it is indeed in the ingredients. If it were me, as a professional business owner, I would have mentioned it on the website, to put a lid on any possible fallout from the mislabeling - ESPECIALLY since the mistake has gone public.
This is my first experience with Komaza, and it's not the best first experience. I left them a voicemail about this issue.
BTW, it's not "stinky" to me, it's just strong (not really to me, but others may think so)...lemongrass.

I'm not really that shook up about the mistake, it's about how it was handled. A lot of these small companies just don't have the quality control checks in place that larger companies have.
My thing is are they going to offer EVERYBODY who got a mislabeled product 200 credits? If not, then they should not have done it all all. Since more than one person received a mislabeled product, to be consistent they need to offer the same compensation to all. That's going to be a problem, and they should have thought a minute about that.
IF they had simply let their customers know there was a labeling error (on their website, as soon as it was discovered), integrity issues would have been squashed quickly - Komaza has pretty good customer service, for what I've read.
I received no note, no email, and no website notice that there was a labeling mistake. That's an issue for me.

I saw that video as well and I was gonna post it here. The lady in the video, I think her suspicions are very valid. How do you miss the feature ingredient on the ingredient label? Makes you wonder if it's really in there. Unless we're a chemist who can determine the composition of the product, there's no way to really know, ya know?
Kind of suspect but I'd still give them the benefit of the doubt. I've never had any issues with Komaza and although this is a huge slip up on there part, I think they're honest from what I have observed. They definitely should make an announcement on their website about this.

Ive had my fair share of run in's with Komaza and they just are not running a tight ship over there. Nothing major but too many little inconsistencies for my liking but my nephew swears by the conditioner since he has been introduced to co-washing.

Umm hmm. That's a good question. If they handled it from the jump they wouldn't have had to offer credits.
But at the same time, maybe they have to sift thru the orders that were made to find the people who ordered the stinky stuff. There's a possibility that they're working on getting account credits to everyone and rectifying it privately or something.
Again, just giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Well, just like my reply on YouTube, we all "trust" companies to act with integrity. We don't actually/necessarily know what's in a bottle...of anything. The only thing I can go on is the reputation of the company, which is good.
I just wish people would learn how to deal with human error.

Possibly, but they need to address it...immediately, to keep speculation down. The mistake got out, so while they may take a moment to decide how/if they're going to compensate, they need to respond quickly, letting customers know they're on the case.
