HA!

I take ALL advice - hair, skin, makeup, career, finance, SOLELY from people who look like they clearly know what they're talking about.

I walked into a hairdressers as I'd seen a set of combs in the window I wanted. My hair was curly from a twist out and it looked cuuuute.

The stylist came running up to me soon as I walked in and she goes "Wow, I'll just start mixing up the relaxer... Virgin hair costs more, by the way. Or *eyes lighting up greedily at the thought of making more money* you could have a weave?"

Worst part? Her hair looked jacked. If you have a weave sewn in that does not match a) the texture, or b) the colour of your own hair, please do not think you can put it in a huge updo. Catching glimpses of straight red Korean hair, tracks, thread and the uncared for knots of your natural hair all at the same doesn't fill me with confidence that you know how to do a damn thing with my head.

I've heard some rough things said from customers to stylists too, but that's a different thread

One of my friend told me that she wish to know what her stylist used the product or whatever on her hair, becasue hair looks good on her. That was her opinion about her own hair. her opinion counted.

HOWEVER, her stylist should not say, "I can not tell you what I did with your hair, that is my secert." Her comments turn me off big time, I kept that opinion to myself. I can not say anything to her, becasue she was my boss. I never forget that comment.

Guess WHAT?? She went back to the same stylist. DUH???????

Something a stylist should never say to any client: oops!

Gahh, happened to me once:/ lost about 5 inches when I was only going for a 1 inch trim...

Insult to injury... this woman wasnt even a stylist yet she was itching to get her fingers on my head... but a few months back she was looking at my hair in barely concealed horror and said "well do you want me to perm it for you? or you would look FABULOUS In locs..." no offense to those with locs but if I wanted a style that permanent I would have gotten them and theres a reason I went NATUAL in the first place...

I wanted to chew her hand off...Stop touching other peoples hair WITHOUT asking for ONE!
