I'm in Baltimore. I'd travel within MD, to the DC metro area, and NoVa for the most part. I would not go to NYC or Philly unless it was a really cool meetup.

I would travel farther for outdoor outings (e.g., Harper's Ferry, WVa).

Good of you to do this. :-) I never expected NY to get hit as hard as it did since when I was watching the news it mostly spoke of VA. I could not sleep because of the wind so got up at 1 am and checked my computer. Saw the damage in NY and heard of lives lost - shocking and sad.

We just missed it in OH. We did get 50 mph winds - miracle power didn't go out since I live outside the city on a very weak power grid. It usually goes out on the drop of a hat. Got up to SNOW this morning. I don't think I've ever seen it snow in October. Heard WV mountains just got pounded with it. I don't think it's ceased to precipitate here (Greater Cincinnati) since yesterday morning. Very, very strange....

ETA: OMG I thought you were doing this b/c of the storm. Didn't even check the date of the OP. Funny.

So many DMV people.

I'm live in the DMV, Northern Virginia to be exact (well a little less vague).
