You know what it's been loving these days?

Cheap, drugstore stuff. I kid you not, herbal essence set me up gel, pantene pro-v conditioners and masks, organix! My hair is so soft from the organix coconut stuff now.

And it's liking silicones! *gasp*

It's easier to detangle, I will say that. I don't know if it's the change in weather but my hair is silicone happy right now. I tried using some other conditioner and it was like CHICK PLEASE!

The only thing it didn't like was the pantene pro-v curly gel or the herbal essence totally twisted gel.

But literally I'll use a dab of shampoo if needed, use a cheap conditioner and then rinse some out, leaving a bit on the ends. Put the herbal essence gel on with no other leave-in and I have perfect hair for days.

The sweet, sweet irony of a product junkie.

This is my hair after leaving a little pantene pro-v nature fusion on the ends and then gel only. No white flakes, no dried out hair.

SO was like whatever you used...get using it. He HATES flakes in my hair and I was pretty sure whenever we went out he was going to clear the shelves of HESMU because of how well it worked. The curls were soft and smelled so nice!

That was day old hair! No not even maybe 2 days. I get at least three out of it and then I cowash.

I like the cheap stuff too. I mean, I haven't branched out very much, but so far so good. I've used one product that was expensive that I liked and that was today. Total SHOCKER! My DNA Tahiti de Monoi shampoo. I got a free sample in the mail and risked a try. I liked it, but I know I'll never afford it.. But I digress..

I love the regular store stuff too. Long Aid, Coconut oil.. Regular shampoo, TRESemme conditioner, and I am DONE.. All under $10 each.. Together they may cost $20 if for some reason I run out of ALL of them at once.

Yes! I'm w/ empressri on this one.

I've switched back to the cheap drugstore 'cones for summer to control frizz on my wash n go hair. Suave Almond & Shea Moisture Conditioner is *winning* and is back in rotation.

I've been co-washing with Tresemme, using Suave as a rinse-out and leave-in with my oil mixture and Kiss My Face Upper Management gel.

At home (midwest) and just recently in Florida my wash n go using this combo lasted at least three days each time w/ definition and NO frizz, which is un-heard-of for me.

My hair is like a cheap-trick w/ a new pimp right about now. Whatever keeps her on the stroll....and my curls a poppin'...LOL
I just want to point out that I don't put the stuff on my scalp! Strictly a few inches away from my roots and all the way down.

Pantene nature fusion....I couldn't believe the results.

Used up the Suave Almond & Shea Butter conditioner which was the perfect luvva' for summer. In the mean time I've totally fell in love with Tresemme Nourishing Conditioner. This stuff ain't going nooowhur, especially for under $5.00 for that big arse bottle!

Same here! Lately that organic natural stuff hasn't been working. I've been using all store brought stuff.

I use a couple of organic, especially when I need to leave it in my hair, but lately drugstore brands have been the best.

It's also been hating shea butter. Idk if it's the brand or what but when I use she lately, it ends up stringy and tangly.
