AOHSR as Leave IN??
Does anyone use AOHSR as a leave in? I typically use it as a DT but today as I was applying it to my damp hair, I noted how well my hair clumped and held, just like I am trying to get it to do with my usual G50:50 leave in. That never looks like this. I always have to add a ton of oil to get it to lay down and I still have frizzies on day 1.
I always thought AOHSR was a DT only and "too much" to leave in the hair for any extended time. Also, I am worried about it being drying long term if I don't rinse it out.
I would love to hear from anyone with experience using this as a leave in.
Thanks!

I do! I like to mix it with tresemme naturals to get more use out of both conditioners. If I use AOHSR as a leave-in by itself, it starts to build up and leave a waxy feeling. I also find that mixing the two leaves my hair more moisturized

I love it as a leave-in. I actually don't use it any other way, although I have tried it as a condish and a DT.

I used to use it as a leave in, but after a while it would build up in my hair really badly. I do better with lighter products.

^ I have found this to be true as well, although for me it's not too bad.
I actually get build up pretty much no matter what I do [my hair is extremely porous] so I have to clarify regularly anyway.

Build up! So that's what it is! I don't use it as a leave-in because it makes my hair go 'funny', I guess build-up is the word I'm looking for althoguh I never assumed it to be that because my hair feels funny even if it's the only thing I use.
It feels really good when it's rinsed off, so that's what I'll use it for. Also, I have too many leave-ins already.

I tried it as a leave in a few weeks ago. It left my hair stiff, dull and with lots of flakes.
