Has anyone ever tried her products? She was featured on CurlyNikki twice.

There is a tab on the left at the bottom that lists all of the ingredients.

+1, I don't think I am going to bite. The Deep Conditioner and the Growth Butter look the best and I've got an abundance of DC and butters. Ehh, maybe :dontknow:

+1...nah, me neither. I was just wondering. LaTresha's hair pics on CurlyNikki were really nice. I'm not big on color but her cut, styles, and well moisturized and healthy looking hair made me want to take a looky-loo at her site. Oh, well.

Chicago Kinks 07-01-2012 08:56 PM

Her cut and color were sick, I loved it but using her products wont give me me either lol.

I have been subscribed to Tree's youtube since before she launched her product. Tree's hair is cute, but I'm to the point where all products are the same. No need to get another line just because it's out and may smell good. I feel like I'm done with that.

Ok can I say
I watch her videos and never was interested because she describes the product by the fragrance, not by the ingredients.

Like, this is the "bamboo and fig conditioner" when it doesnt actually have bamboo or fig extract (though she might have added it) so it seems like SHE doesnt make the products or know about ingredients.

Also I get annoyed that it seems like she pushes them in all her videos, but im weird like that..
Nevertheless, her hair is gorgeous! But im not interested..

I totally gave in and ordered the deep conditioner, never mind that I have two other deep conditioners coming in the mail. I hope it wasn't a waste, but I'm still in search of a good one and I couldn't resist. Her hair is great advertisement :)

Cora ~ since you took the plunge, let us know how it works out for you.

LOL..... I thought I was the only one bothered by that. That's a personal pet peeve of mine as well because it gets me all hyped up of thinking "hey this is an original product with unique ingredients" and then....BAM....that's just the fragrance oil. Bbbbbut it's just her way of marketing I suppose. She may indeed make her products and know about ingredients but just chooses to name her products by the fragrance she uses as opposed to the name of the ingredients. What bothers me MORE is these repeat product names. I just saw a brand called Blended Heritage which looks like a direct copy of Blended Beauty, Then another business (whos products DO admittedly look good) have a "sweet hair pudding" ....every one has a custard...then theres the over use of "amla + *other ingredient* hair cream/conditioner" just because QB did it. ...and every business has a "shea" something. there ARE other oils....Perilla seed oil, Kiwi Seed Oil, Blueberry Oil, Cranberry Oil, Pomegranate Oil, ACTUAL fig extract, apple extract. I mean....come onnnn. No originality anymore....

Tree naturals deep conditioner

I did purchase several products from tree naturals. The rice flower & shea leave in conditioner, the bamboo, fig & lotus flower deep conditioner, the hair & body oil, and the coconut, chamomile & lemongrass refresher spray. Honestly, I will not repurchase the leave in conditioner, or the body oil it just didn't do the job for my hair. The refresher spray did refresh but I think I can find a product that does this for cheaper.

However, I absolutely love the deep conditioner! I believe she mentions the smell of these products because they smell fabulous! The best I've smelled in a while! I have 3c texture hair and this product defined my curls, left the curls soft and bouncy! The best deep conditioner I've tried thus far! i simply co wash my hair, apply a small amount to each section. place a processing cap on my head and cover with a microfiber turban. An hour later my hair feels, looks and smells fabulous! I will definitely be repurchasing this product!

Hope this helps!

I was recently tempted to try her products, particularly the LI and DC. I might take the plunge, especially if there's a decent sale (although I feel like shipping costs turned me off on purchasing). This is a brand that I would like to see in CurlKit though.

Sidebar: was contemplating getting a similar type of color in my hair since I love Tree's hair but my stylist thinks I will get bored of it after a while so I may opt for tips only or some degree of ombre.

I was interested in buying her products but they have glycerine high on the ingredient list. A no, no for high dew point Cities.... It is a turn off as well that she claims to ONLY use her own products. she's like her sole supporter.
