Sorry couldn't keep on writing after i put in the picture.
I also wanted to say that now when I use the new bottle my hair feels a bit dry and not as moisturized as it did before. I thought that myabe the fact that the olive oli is further down the list the cream is not as moisturizing as it used to be .
I dont know if this really makes a difference but i do know that my hair feels dryer now when i use the BBRC.

I haven't experienced any changes in performance in the BRBC AOHC or HBTSG.
Im sorry that that was your experience though.

Lactic acid is missing from the new jar, unless I missed it. That ingredient is excellent for highly porous hair. Maybe that's the problem.

Good catch on the lactic acid. I have an old jar and a new jar. It is on the old label but not on the new one.

I'm becoming increasingly concerned about all this talk about changes in ingredients and consistencies. I've been patiently waiting to place a new QB order to include the BRBC because I finished an older jar months ago. I hope this new formulation will perform the same for me. I also love the AOHC for winter and Moringa Conditioning Ghee, good thing I haven't heard any negative comments about those.

@curvycurly
I am sure others will take it off your hands if it doesn't work for you, me being one of them.

I'm waiting for my detangling ghee from Sage. The last time I used it was 2 years ago. I'm nervous too about whether or not it will work for me. Fingers crossed.

It looks like to me that the "new" ingredient list for the hair cream (not the detangler) are just listed more accurately than before and are more in order with FDA good manufacturing guidelines. Which she would need to do to be in larger stores. Sorta like how Taaliah Waajids Mist Bodifier detangler went from just containing witch hazel and herbs to a myriad of other ingredients once she got in larger stores.
She's probably trying to expand into stores such as Earth Fare Whole Foods etc...a chain. That would explain the sudden cut down on ingredients...performance differences and packaging changes. Cetyl alcohol, in regard to the detangler, in my opinion makes a huge difference in performance even if the amount is lessened at just 1%. Its very effective in small percentages at what it does but I'm almost certain she would have had to have reduced the amount of this ingredient in particular in order for it to be able to be in a bottle. I understand though, bottles are generally cheaper than jars so if she's interested in mass production (the amount that Sage has wouldn't be that difficult to produce even by one person) it makes sense. I think it would have prob been a good idea to transition all the thick hair creams and detangler to MALIBU TUBES and got rid of the jars all together instead of changing formulation so they could pump through a bottle. That way she wouldn't have to invest in expensive jars....efficacy and performance would not be compromised for the customer, AND it would reduce potential contamination drastically. That's why its best to keep formulas simple if you ever intend to get bigger because when mass produuction starts you'll be spending a lot more. I think this is why Curls offered a cheaper alternative via Target. Mass productionn of products in a huge chain store is costly esp if you don't have investors. DB uses unique ingredients within every product she offers....I see this being a potential issue with her...if she tries to do mass production as well.

I get you, but what I don't get is Qhemet kind of brushing you off. It's like because you got good results with one batch that's all that mattered. I can understand slight differences from batch to batch...one batch might have a slightly stronger scent or a tad bit thicker, but they shouldn't ignore performance differences.

Because I initially contacted her privately on LHCF as well and there was no response and I don't see this response in the sponsored thread on LHCF, unless I'm overlooking something.
Just wondering. You don't have to answer. #NoBiggie
