Good Cream moisturizer suggestion??

Hi Ladies,

I have been struggling for a while to get my hair under control. Now that I have a new job, I'm really trying to figure this out. I am trying to find a good hair cream moisturizer. I have tried so many products....

I wash my hair every other week and cowash it the alternate week. Every night (if I don't do this my hair goes to hell) I spritz my hair with a water/shea moisture restorative conditioner mix first, put Jane carter nourishing cream on my hair and twist it into 7-8 twists.. If I remember I put shea butter after the cream, but it really doesn't add anything to it.

The jane carter solution is OK, but there must be a more moisturizing cream out there. WHen I take out the twists in the morning, it's defined, but looks dry still. SInce my hair is a dull brown, it is hard to show shine. I wonder if I should put a black rinse in it. I won't dye it again b/c it really makes my hair wheat-ish and henna is so complicated to me.

Can 4b hair show shine well? bY mid day, my hair is a frizz ball. Maybe I need gel.

If anyone has any suggestions? Thanks for reading..
After doing online research, I bough Optimum Oil Therapy 3 in 1 creme oil....

It looked ok once I took the twists out, but now it looks dry again... I used to use ORS olive oil cream and that worked but then it stopped after I experimented with coconut oil. Maybe i will try it again. It works better than the oil therapy

My hair doesn't really show shine. The best I get is sheen

4b natural
I have very dry hair too that is also a dull, dusty brown color lol. Have you tried Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie? My hair loves that stuff as a moisturizer.

It MUST be a 4 B/C thing. I co wash with HE HH weekly and mostly wear twist out. Do you think using OLIVE OIL to seal is contributing to the weakness? what would you do differently, from week-to-week, being the weather is getting cooler?

Are you protein sensitive? Check out hairscapades on the web. She has the best DC cool n seal method!! Also due to the curves and coils of our hair type shine may b had to get but we will get sheen. It's all about light reflection. Also have you tried a silicone serum in your DC for added moisture?
A good moisturizer for me would be Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk, made my hair and my son's hair very soft. For sheen I like Carol's Daughter Hair Balm or Mimosa Hair Honey. Also the hair balm and Mimosa Hair honey are great moisturizers for my family's hair, too.
Hair type:
4A/4B(coarse, very thick, dry, and curly)
Big chop 3/27/12
