That's why I like to shop on ground, because that way you can easily return it vs online. Also if the product is bad or if I didn't apply it right and it had my hair looking a hot mess. Well then I would make my own mixture of things that I had still left of other products, and make it work. Sometimes if it don't work for me, I will do free package giveaways with it including free shipping, and items that were brand new because I brought to many or didn't work. I just would share, and sometimes it's just nice to do especially if another person might be wanting it..
Good to know I wasn't the only one that felt that way about Reve Essentials Did nothing for me.
Happy, Nappy, and Kinky 24/7!!
4/b very coily
CJ Pattern Pusha old formula. I haven't bothered to use it, because it requires extra effort to prevent the flaking.

There's so much stuff so I'll just name the lines that were complete fails: Curl Junkie, Oyin Handmade, Karen's Body Beautiful, Darcy's Botanicals, Komaza, Hairveda, BeeMine, Donna Marie, Naturalista Cosmetics, Kinky Curly, Curls, Jane Carter and Beija Flor. I'm sure there's more but that's all I can remember right now. I've spent alot of money on products and nothing from these lines worked for my hair! That sure would be a nice refund check if I could get it!

Anything Carol's Daughter. Sometimes I feel like people are pretending its good and they know better. That $50 I wasted is the reason I save receipts everytime I try a new product now
No shampoo, no hair pins, no heat, no puffs... Just buns.

Almost MBL
Jane Carter Natural Hold Locking Spray turns my hair to a steel wool pad. I don't need any help with that.

SM Curling Souffle. Liked it at first, but then it got humid and I didn't realize. The glycerin content is too much. I'm moving toward glycerin free products. Too much of a balancing act with the weather. But when the weather is right, it makes my hair look great.
I have more products that I didn't like

Curl junkie beautiful curls leave in (not good for people who live on a island)
Afroveda twisting butter
Hairveda whipped ends and cream ( whipped ends not moisturizing enough and cream is to sticky)
I also like that a lot of us have reve essentials as a wasted products.( I am ready to throw this in the garbage.)

These weren't terribly expensive but they do absolutely NOTHING for me.
Beautiful curls Shea butter curl activating cream for curly to kinky hair
Beautiful curls curl enhancing Shea butter leave-in conditioner for wavy to curly hair
Desert essence coconut shine & refine hair Lotion
Desert essence coconut soft curls hair cream
GVP conditioning balm....just putting it on my ends at night, it better do something damn it!

I bought these two products so long ago:
Product....all components organic & plant derived (its an expensive, thick, tiny jar of friggin greasy crap)
Hair fixer....its too strong of a protein treatment for my hair.

-Oyin Handmade's Hair Dew: Smelled great but I don't like the way an oil moisturizer felt on my hair
-Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo: Amazingly, too gentle. It didn't clean my hair
-Renpure Organics My Pretty Hair is Parched! Moisturizing Shampoo: Smelled horrible AND dried my hair out
-Taliah Waajid Lock It Up Gel: I have no idea how to use this. I still don't.

SM C&H shampoo (nothing special about this product)
NG aloe vera shampoo & conditioner (hardly moisturizing)
Miss Jessie's (zapped the life & moisture out my hair)
Elasta qp mango butter & olive oil moisturizer (strong scent, mineral oil, parabens, ugh. Funny thing my relaxed hair loved this stuff, not my natural curlies)
KCCC (left my curls crunchy)
Eco Styler + SM smoothie combo (left mad build-up)

Mimismom- there are some rich products on that list and some common ingredients. This may be a porosity, density issue, or there may be an ingredient your hair doesn't like. Investigate closely

Jane Carter Nourish and Shine!
I know many people love shea butter but, I only bought it once--and I felt like I wasted $7. It never did anything but make my hair/skin feel super duper GREASY.

Also:

-Cantu products
-Organix products
Fotki

Kinky curly curling custard, shampoo and conditioner. I tried it twice, same results. My hair shrank into tight curls. Didn't like the smell, crispiness of the product or having to apply it keeping my hair soaking wet. Here's a pix. ImageUploadedByCurlTalk1350842965.832657.jpg
Shea Moisture Curly Soufflé. Too sticky.
I really would love to find a wash and product that would completely shrink my hair or smell.

CJ smoothing lotion, beauticurls leave in, smoothing conditioner, and CIAB-all pretty good but I have my HGs now and won't be using these much.

CD chocolat conditioner-performed like any sephora conditioner (meh), too many polyquats, and I couldn't stand the smell, which was nothing like chocolate to me

CJ rehab in coconut gardenia- LOVE the product, but the strawberry one smells so much better, don't know why I decided to get this one instead
